The Oppo brand recently introduced its new Reno4 series of smartphones. No less than 3 new models are thus proposed on the market to try to seduce as large an audience as possible thanks to rather interesting features and prices. They rely on photo quality and the ultra-fast 65 Watt recharge. Here are all the details.
The new range of Oppo Reno4 smartphones is in the middle of the range that draws on the Premium. However, the Oppo manufacturer has decided to offer more powerful configurations in terms of photo sensors in order to provide users with the best possible results. Thus, the brand caused quite a stir in this field with the top-of-the-range Oppo Find X2 Pro model, which offers very high-flying shots. Here, the series consists of 3 models, the Reno4, Reno4 Z and Reno4 Pro.
Oppo Reno4 with triple photo sensor
The Oppo Reno4 Pro smartphone features a 48 megapixel main photo sensor with Quad Pixel technology for maximum detail. It comes with a 12-megapixel sensor with a 2x optical zoom telephoto lens and a final 13-megapixel module. There is an Ultra Night video mode that wants to offer particularly bright scenes even in difficult lighting conditions. The front sensor is a 32 megapixel with 5 lenses.
Reno4 Pro, an ultra-fast charge in 38 minutes
The Reno4 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G-compatible chip. It is associated with 12GB of RAM and offers 512GB of storage space for the Find X2 Pro, for example. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of memory expansion. The display measures 6.5 inches in 20:9 format with OLED technology and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is a fingerprint reader located under the screen. It is powered by a double battery with a total capacity of 4000 mAh. It supports the ultra-fast 65 Watt charge which allows it to be fully charged in only 38 minutes.
The mobile supports two SIM cards if needed. It measures 159.6×72.5×7.6 mm and weighs 172 grams making it the thinnest 5G smartphone on the market.
The new Oppo Reno4 Pro smartphone is available for pre-order in blue or black at a suggested retail price of approximately €800.
Oppo Reno4 also with quick charge
The Oppo Reno4 also features a triple sensor photo configuration with the same main module as the Reno4 Pro, plus an 8-megapixel wide angle sensor and another 2 megapixel monochrome sensor for optimal portraiture. It has a 6.4-inch AMOLED 60Hz display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels in 20:9 format. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 765G chip with 8GB of RAM, this time with 128GB of storage. The battery is 4020 mAh and also accepts the ultra-fast 65 Watts charge with the promise of a full recharge in 38 minutes. The fingerprint reader is located under the screen.
The new Oppo Reno4 smartphone is available in black or blue. It is available for pre-order for a recommended retail price of €550.
120 Hz screen for the Oppo Reno4 Z but no ultra-fast charging
Finally, the Oppo Reno4 Z model benefits from the same design as the others despite a slightly thicker chassis. The fingerprint reader is placed on the side, to fall under the thumb. The display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a feature reserved for higher-end models. It uses 6.57-inch LCD technology with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 800 5G compatible chip with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. The battery has a capacity of 4000 mah but supports 18 Watts charge and can not recharge as fast as the other devices in the series. On the photo side, we can count on the integration of a main sensor of 48 megapixels, another one of 8 and two last ones of 2 megapixels each to optimize portraits. At the front, there are two sensors of 16 and 2 megapixels to take selfie.
The new Oppo Reno4 Z smartphone will be available from October 22nd for a suggested retail price of approximately €380.
