As probably one of the most loyal IPhone customers, since I have owned an IPhone since the very first model in 2007, i.e. for 12 years, I could never imagine using an Android phone. For me it was simply not imaginable that any other software could be as intuitive to use as iOS. Now I got a Huawei mobile phone for testing. My ‘comparison IPhone’ is an IPhone 6th Since I did not agree for years with the prices of IPhones, but still wanted my usual software, I have unfortunately almost annually on a ‘new’ ‘refurbished’ device purchased, to find out again and again that the battery, even after the shortest time again does not last a day and you constantly with the fear that mobile phone could go out at any time must live, if you do not ever carry a charger cable at home, at work, in the car and for safety in your purse. Nevertheless, I was very suspicious, because it is also the cheapest Huawei ‘savings’ option. Software The move from iOS was a quick and easy one thanks to an app. So no PC or even a backup is necessary. The unlocking with fingerprint worked directly and the position for it at the back of the phone instead of the front makes much more sense in my opinion. To my surprise, I immediately found my way intuitively. The look of the home screen is of course a bit different, but the interface makes it extremely easy to find your way even for a convinced IPhone user. The installation of all the apps I had before also worked perfectly, I have to admit that I always thought that my favorite apps were definitely not available for Android devices and that I would have to change. Also the icons of the apps look pleasantly familiar. The operation e.g. switching between the apps, returning to the start screen, quitting apps, everything works at once. In addition, I get a whole 128 GB memory here, finally no more pop ups with the comment ‘memory full’. The 4 GB processor is fully sufficient for me as a standard user and I could notice delays in all applications. Optics/Display The back is very smooth and tends to slip out of your hand, it’s made of plastic, which is hardly distinguishable from glass and honestly, if there’s no optical difference, I don’t know what the advantage of glass should be. With a cover, which I always use anyway, the smartphone is also not so slippery anymore and lies super in the hand. The flat design, the extraordinary colour (shimmering blue) and the large display convinces me surprisingly directly despite my fear of an even bigger device. It is crystal clear, bright, sharp and delivers good contrasts and colours. I’m aware that the comparison is unfair, as Apple now also has 6.1 inch displays throughout, but this at a much higher price. The flat design makes the size look elegant and not too big at all, it sits great in the hand and can easily be operated with a (small woman’s) hand. Besides, my 4 inch IPhone 6 display looks very outdated. Even the superstition that only Apple makes good, crystal clear displays is disproved when you switch it on. I begin to wonder why I always go back to an outdated device when I could have such a solid and solid device for the same or even a lower price, which is also state of the art. Camera The Huawei has a triple camera with 48 MP, 120 degree wide angle lens and a bokeh lens for portraits. My IPhone also has 48 MP, I took some pictures in different light conditions, but my IPhone 6 is beaten by far. The photos are clear, sharp and automatically focused in the right place. Even macro- and portrait shots with intentionally blurred backgrounds

In the meantime I have tested the Huawei P30 lite for a few weeks and would like to tell you about my experiences. The P30 lite lies well in the hand and has a comfortable size. The back is made of plastic, looks white in my colour but still looks valuable. I generally use a silicone protective cover to avoid scratches and possible display damage. The fingerprint sensor is built in the middle and reacts very fast. If you do not want to use the fingerprint sensor, you can also use the face unlock function. Simply hold the P30 lite towards your face, press the power button and it’s already unlocked. The display is beautifully large with its 6.15 inch and the resolution of 2312×1080 pixels makes all content look razor sharp. Everything was clearly visible even in sunlight. The front camera has only a small cutout, so almost nothing is lost from the large display. There is a protection mode for the eyes, which reduces the brightness. The battery lasts about 2 days. With stronger use, e.g. by games etc. it holds also sometimes only one day. But due to the quick charge function the battery is charged to 100% in about one hour. I regularly watch Facebook, Instagram, mail program, WhatsApp and I always watch YouTube videos. But of course the battery performance depends on the user. In standby mode it loses very little power, which is different from what I was used to from my old mobile phone. Setting up the smartphone is very easy, especially from Android to Android. I downloaded Huawei Cloud and after a while everything from my old phone was on the new P30lite. The phone has a built-in memory of 128GB, which I find quite sufficient. You can also expand the memory with a micro SD card. However, this will make you lose the dual sim function. You can either use one micro SD card or two nano sim cards. The camera actually interested me most with the P30lite. The pictures are simply ‘WOW’. I immediately went out into nature and tried out snapshots of animals, flowers, landscapes etc. The pictures are pin sharp and even when zooming in they are not pixelated. The camera even recognized the cat I photographed and immediately showed a small cat symbol in the display. In this price segment the camera is probably currently unbeatable. Even at dusk or in the dark the camera still takes good pictures. Because of the wide angle lens I could take really nice landscape pictures. You simply get more on the picture than with normal lenses. Also the Selfie camera with its 24MP takes very good pictures. Here you can get really funny effects with e.g. bunny ears, sunglasses etc., similar to Snapchat. The speaker is clear and loud, even on phone calls, you can recognize every word very well from your partner. So you can also listen to music well. The only thing we noticed a bit negative is the update problem with Huawei. There is a lot of press coverage and according to Huawei, all smartphones on the market should get updates. According to their terms and conditions, however, it says that the buyer has no claim to updates. Here it is probably time to look and wait. Overall, we are very satisfied with the Huawei P30lite and can recommend it as a good mid-range smartphone with a great camera.

I have been using the Huawei P 30 lite for 10 days now. My previous phone was the P Smart 2018, so I am quite familiar with its operation. One would also have the possibility to set up a different user interface, but for me it was more comfortable to continue the 3 points technology. The new ‘flip up’ to close an application and the possibility of scrolling shots instead of single screenshots are really handy. Decisive for the change was for me the advertising statement Huwaweis, the P30 lite to be a ‘photo miracle’. In contrast to the other P30 models, the P30 and the P30 Pro, there is no Leica camera installed. I think that you can see that too. The photo quality is much better than that of the older models and also that of the Samsung Smartphones, but not better compared to the new Apple models. There are a lot more features, the wide angle and the night mode for example, but I personally find that the pictures are quite distorted in the wide angle. In night mode, only still objects can be photographed, after all, a shot lasts at least 15 seconds. Despite several attempts, I didn’t succeed in taking suitable photos of people in night mode. It’s a pity, because I expected to be able to take a picture in the garden at night in torchlight without using the annoying flash, the whole thing results in a blurred image soup, unfortunately. Only the zoom is the absolute upper hammer – something has really changed! So – camera in normal mode good and sharp, good resolution, good selfies, ingenious zoom – nice gadgets, but far from the miracle. If you refrain from buying a thick protective cover, you won’t enjoy the camera for long anyway, because it stands far out of the device and is usually ‘naked’ on the table, so the glass will be scratched quickly. Striking for me, on the part of the inner technology next to the camera, is that pages on the internet open very slowly. So the P Smart reacts much faster. In addition, I often lose the connection to W-Lan. That happens neither with Apple nor with the other, older Smartphones in our house. This is annoying and dims my joy immensely. Also with the reception the Huawei P 30 lite does not perform as well as expected. While my friends don’t have any problems with apples, I struggle with little reception, even more than with the older P Smart. Since I am not a technology freak, I cannot explain why this is so. I gladly accept tips. Games run smoothly, the graphics are also okay, but nothing special for a middle class mobile phone. Looking at pictures in sunlight is difficult. You have to adjust the brightness manually, because the automatic fails. The format is also a matter of taste. Even though the display is almost borderless, the size of 6.15 inches does not seem so to me. The format of 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4 mm is absolutely a matter of taste, as is the very discreet message LED. Conclusion: Strengths in the camera obviously, but not without flaws, those who expect miracles will be disappointed. Savings inside m.E. clearly noticeable. Thus for me neither a price nor a true photo miracle in the lite version.

HUAWEI advertises the P30 Lite as the photo miracle that comes up with a 48 MP triple camera with ultra-wide angle. I am a passionate amateur photographer who puts more emphasis on the camera. In addition, a long-lasting battery, fast working processes and a very bright display are important to me. Finish / Design: The Twilight design is now part of my standard repertoire, which is why I was afraid that the design would look boring at some point. Nevertheless, the current colour convinced me, as the design and colour gradient appear fresh and unexpected. The workmanship is of high quality as usual from Huawei. Larger gaps or unclean workmanship are not visible on my model. Display: I like the display because of the crisp colors and good detail reproduction. Furthermore, the brightness is sufficient to be able to see the display content even in very sunny weather. Processes: It can be switched back and forth without significant delays due to the individual register pages. The same also applies to standard daps. Camera: The P30 Lite’s camera offers a triple camera with a 48 MP wide-angle lens with 1.8 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens and 2 MP for bokeh effects on the back. On the front is a 24 MP camera with 2.0 aperture. The Triple Cam is good, but not the promised photo miracle for me. Shooting in good light is very good in ultra wide angle as well as in 1x or 2x zoom. The picture quality is surprising in both manual and AI-supported modes. Shooting in both modes is largely convincing with natural colours, good contrasts and good detail rendition. Only the photo processing of the AI scene recognition, e.g. at sunset, I sometimes feel too extreme. The photo looks very worth seeing thanks to the bright colors, but this photo has not much in common with reality. A little less is sometimes more. Furthermore I have found out that not every mode gives the same or nearly the same results. A shot of a neon sign in AI mode is much worse than the existing night mode. Here a little gimmick is necessary to get the most perfect shots possible. As soon as there is less light available or difficult lighting situations (different light sources) prevail, the limits are unfortunately quickly reached. This manifests itself, among other things, through image noise. Furthermore you can see that the trio lacks image stabilization, because pictures get blurred faster at higher zoom levels. Battery: The P30 Lite’s battery lasts for about 2 days, depending on use and stress. Depending on the load, a temperature development is noticeable on the back despite the case. Conclusion: The Lite convinced me with its speed, display and battery. I’m not completely satisfied with the camera, as the quality noticeably depends on the situation or the used shooting mode. Partly, the AI tends to exaggerate, which is far from reality. The buyer has to decide here whether beautiful colors or more reality are more important to him. In good light HUAWEI could and can convince for a long time. Now it is time to do this even in difficult light.

The Huawei P30 lite fits comfortably in the hand and at just under 160g is pleasantly light and looks chic. It is also thinner than my current Huawei. I really like the selected blue, but the color is not the most important criterion. What is immediately noticeable, the compartment for Sim and SD card are on top. For me something new. Now insert the Sim card, set up the mobile and then the test can start. Set up the phone was quick and easy, as usual. 128 GB memory, expandable by 512 GB via SD card ……… I find more than sufficient. Already the start screen shows great colors and gives an idea how good the display is. With the camera I already made the first steps. I am surprised by the quality of the pictures. And I am enthusiastic about the wide angle. This applies to selfies and normal shots alike. If you still have all the settings under control…. Why do you still need a digital camera today, when you have such a mobile phone. The battery lasts pretty well during the whole test, I didn’t expect it to last like this, but it’s good news. Compared to my current Huawei it is much better. The apps run smoothly and the tested videos confirm the good display quality. It’s really fun to watch videos on the mobile phone. And don’t strain your eyes, which I find quite important. The fingerprint sensor works reliably, no problem to unlock my phone. The gyroscope sensor is not so important for me, because I neither play mobile games which can be controlled with the mobile phone, nor do I need to have exact location data, because I don’t use the mobile phone as a navigation system. This also applies to the compass. Exact location data are important, however, if you need them at any time. The ambient light is a useful feature for those who like it. Also saves battery power, but I still prefer my own settings. I can’t see any difference between the accelerometer and my current phone. The hall sensor supports the compass and should be able to detect if a flip cover is opened and turn the display on. Unfortunately I cannot test this. I do not have such a cover. My first conclusion for weight, equipment and camera clearly thumbs up. Even after longer tests my opinion about the mobile phone has not changed. I am completely satisfied with the phone and don’t want to give it away anymore. Thumbs up!

What? You want me to test a Huawei phone with Android operating system? I thought something like that (as a loyal LG customer) when I started testing. Since I have been using smartphones, I have always relied on Samsung and most recently LG. And now I should test a Huawei smartphone? I was skeptical at first – especially the slimmed down version of the current Huawei flagship P30 Pro. What could I expect? Right from the start I noticed that there is little to be noticed of a slimmed down version. What I immediately liked is the fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, which is very easy to reach and works without any problems! With the Smartphone I immediately find my way intuitively. Of course, one or the other looks slightly different. Overall, however, the operating system interface makes a clear impression. The icons of the apps look pleasantly familiar, or rather they are easy to understand. Changing programs, returning to the start screen, quitting apps – all no problem and the use is easy and smooth. And after a few minutes, my fingers know what to do all by themselves. The design, very slim. The action area extends to the edge. I don’t find the 6.15-inch display to be huge. The flat huawei design also makes you want to let the phone glide through your hand, but there’s also a drawback. The device should definitely be protected with a cover. Now for the preserves: the camera! Wide angle and a zoom function with double magnification are on board! I manage to take great photos! Even with backlighting the P 30 Lite copes well. And I can compare very well because my predecessor had very good and versatile cameras. Now to the battery. Despite all the trial and error, the battery is very durable at 3340 milliamperes per hour. It can easily last a day, and more. You can watch it recharge thanks to the quick charge function. At four percent, I hook the phone up to the power, and after only ten minutes it has 21 percent again. After half an hour it is even 44 percent and after a good hour it is full again. That’s how it can be lived – and charged. It can even be recharged wirelessly to the Qi standard. Conclusion: It can do something, even if with small cutbacks. A clear recommendation to buy if you don’t need a high-performance smartphone. I am satisfied and happy with the P30 lite.

Camera: When we went to the concert, we took many photos &amp, videos. The quality is super. In comparison to the old mobile phone outstanding. The pictures were razor sharp despite all the light and fire effects. In the AI-mode the handling was no problem and the camera recognized immediately that it has to switch to stage mode. Many pictures were taken with a zoom of 1.6. But there is absolutely no quality loss visible. The sound quality of the videos is very good. Battery: At delivery the battery had 65%. This 65% we have the phone set up, concert attendance including videos &amp, photos were enough. In total about 5 days. After 1 hour charging, with the supplied charging cable, 80% were already charged. The battery was completely full after 1 hour 28 minutes. What I find as a disadvantage is that the battery is firmly installed and therefore unfortunately not replaceable. If the battery is lost, the whole phone can be disposed of. Set up: The phone has automatically referred to the ‘Phone Clone App’ from Huawei, which was very helpful. So all contacts, most of the apps, pictures, videos etc. from the old phone were on the new P30 lite in a short time. The whole thing went with a speed of 12MB/sec. During setup a QR code is displayed on the Huawei to establish a connection to the old phone. With my old mobile phone I had to scan this code 3x before the connection could be established. Afterwards everything went smoothly. The setup time varies a lot from the amount of data to be transferred. With me it was about 30min. What a pity is that some apps could not be transferred and afterwards no list was created which apps were ‘missing’. So it only becomes apparent afterwards that not everything is available. Design: Compared to my old phone the display is much bigger. The colour reproduction is in a completely different league. All of a sudden the display of my old phone looks very yellowish, because the Huawei has a very white display in comparison. At first you think you are reading from a book. The writing and contrast were so pin sharp. The only point of criticism would be that the cameras on the back of the mobile phone stick out a little. The included headphones look very cheap and are also very uncomfortable to wear. Moreover, the headphones do not allow for volume control.

I’ve been testing the Huawei P30 lite for a few weeks now and was able to get a good impression of the new little photo miracle. Since I have a little daughter, I attach great importance to a good camera for a mobile phone, which takes good snapshots even under difficult conditions. Especially when my daughter is scurrying around, it was difficult to take sharp pictures with my old mobile phone – with the P30 lite no problem at all! I’m really thrilled how sharp the pictures are – e.g. also with ‘Plantschbildern’ with water: you can see every drop flying through the air. I also find the possibility to take wide-angle pictures extremely good and especially with selfies very helpful. The AI camera automatically detects scenes and optimizes the pictures – top! Also the many other possibilities the camera offers complete the package: Night mode, time-lapse, stickers, filters, panorama, 3DQmoji,… Together with a lot of pictures there is always the memory space: 128GB! From my point of view more than sufficient – you can safely do without an additional SD card. The design has convinced me – I have the white version of the P30 lite – looks very classy due to the colour and the silver frame and with its only 158 grams it fits well in my somewhat smaller female hand. I would also like to emphasize the fingerprint sensor – it allows me to activate my smartphone with just one movement: really practical! Also the face recognition to unlock the phone works great. I also think it’s great that a kind of magnifying glass now opens when marking texts, so that it’s much easier to mark certain text passages. Huawei has also thought along with the mobile phone screenshots – so you have the possibility to split the screenshot directly (by simply wiping upwards). Saves you the often annoying navigation to the screenshot folder. Last but not least the battery life: I really use my mobile phone a lot, especially for taking pictures or watching videos, but still I only need to charge it about every 2 days. Thanks to the quick charging cable, this is possible in only 2 hours. To come to the point: I am completely satisfied with my P30 lite and I would not want to miss it anymore. You were just what I needed! 🙂 Clear purchase recommendation with 5 of 5 stars!

Last year I bought the HUAWEI P20 lite and I am very satisfied with it. Since I like to be on the newest technical level, I have now ordered the HUAWEI P30 lite in the colour blue. My previous smartphones were in the middle class. For me the price/performance ratio, a clearly arranged Android with few pre-installed apps, a regular update policy and a qualitative hardware are decisive factors for the purchase. The HUAWEI P30 lite is well manufactured and looks very good visually. I find the blue particularly beautiful due to the metallic effect. Unfortunately, as with the P20 lite, the back is very smooth, so it slides quickly off the couch back. Therefore, I think a protective cover is necessary. After one year, there have been significant upgrades in the hardware. For example, the P30 lite has a better processor, so several demanding apps can run smoothly at the same time without any problems. The very good camera of the P20 lite has been topped once again, which now has a triple camera built in and an ultra-wide angle lens. Thanks to the numerous setting options, my photos, especially the panorama shots, are now even better. I am thrilled. The internal memory has been doubled, so now even more pictures can be stored. The battery is much better, so the smartphone will last a good day, despite many demanding gaming apps. Compared to the P20 lite, the display is even bigger due to the FullView design. The picture is very sharp and powerful. I am very enthusiastic about the technical refinements of the HUAWEI P30 lite, but due to the current political events around HUAWEI I am thinking about sending the smartphone back. Due to the trade dispute with the USA, HUAWEI might not be allowed to deliver Android updates in the future. Also several app vendors, like Whatsapp, have already cancelled their support for HUAWEI. How this will develop in the future is not yet clear. The HUAWEI P30 lite has exceeded my expectations due to the great technical update of the processor, camera, battery and internal memory compared to the HUAWEI P20 lite. The surface of the back of the smartphone is expandable for the future. Furthermore, it is to be hoped that Android updates will continue to be delivered despite the political events.

Opinionated Me!

Recently the new Huawei P30 lite is in my possession and I would like to tell you about it. Shortly to my person, I am a technically enthusiastic family man, in my early 40s and I take pictures of my two small ones practically daily. Right after unpacking and the first ‘taking in hand’ I was very surprised by the device. Super thin, a huge display with a touch of edge. Nothing wobbles, no gaps…well done Huawei! The fingerprint scanner is on the back, which I personally don’t like that much, but it works really fast and reliable. Now we come to the inner values. The P30 lite is equipped with Android 9.0 and the in-house EMUI interface in version 9.0.1. I find EMUI a very good interface with clear structures and graphically very appealing. It is fun to scroll back and forth over the large display. Everything is presented crisp and sharp and the colors are bright without exaggerating. Now of course to the topic what will occupy many: The camera In daylight the P30 lite shoots really super nice and sharp photos. The AI Assistant optimizes them even during the shooting and that works great. The P30 lite is still able to keep up with light twilight and the night mode takes very attractive pictures, but in the dark the device quickly reaches its limits. The front camera makes very good selfies. All in all, I think the camera is outstanding for a device in this price range! With the 3.340 mAh large battery you can easily get through the day and otherwise the device is equipped with all important functions such as, fast WiFi, USB-C connection, NFC, 3.5 jack and the large 128 GB memory is expandable with a micro-SD card. After about two weeks of intensive testing, I have come to the following conclusion: Pro: – great design, high-quality workmanship – large, sharp display with sufficient brightness – fast processor, smooth operation, sufficient memory, large battery – up-to-date and well thought-out software – for the price range outstanding camera Contra: – camera quickly reaches its limits in low light – fingerprint sensor on the back As a conclusion I can only say: If you compare the price with what you get for it, the Huawei P30 lite is definitely an insider tip. Therefore, I give a clear purchase recommendation

Since a few weeks I am allowed to test the Huawei P30 Lite. The back in the shimmering Peacock Blue looks really chic. The background of the display on the front is designed with a blue-orange color matching the back. That makes good mood and is not as dull as just black or grey. There is only a small cutout for the front camera (Notch) The display is quite large for a mobile phone, which I find quite practical for working. You don’t have to use a very small keyboard. Besides, you can see everything quite well, even in sunlight. There is also an eye protection mode, which reduces the brightness a bit. The battery is already recharged in 2 hours thanks to the quick-charge function. It lasts about 2 days in normal use and about one day in heavy use with games etc. It has a capacity of 3340 mAh. The Huawei P30 Lite charges all apps and games quickly and reliably. Surfing the Internet works perfectly. It uses Android™ as its operating system and the memory capacity of 4 GB RAM, 128 ROM can be expanded up to 512 GB with a micro SD memory card. The phone can be secured with PIN and face recognition or fingerprint scanning. Especially the fast unlocking with fingerprint I like very much. The Huawei P30 Lite delivers very good pictures with natural colors and details with the triple camera (48 MB) with ultra wide angle. Color, lighting and contrast are automatically adjusted, which I find very practical. The twilight and dark shots are still satisfactory, although not quite as sharp. I find the snapshot function quite handy, because you don’t have to go to the camera app to take snapshots. With the zoom function, one gets better detail shots. The cl-modus can be switched on and off at will. Moreover, one can adjust the bokeh effect. My conclusion: Overall, I like the Huawei P30 Lite very much. The smartphone has some practical functions and takes very good pictures. I also like the design without a glass back, the quick unlocking with fingerprint, the large, beautifully colored display and the memory. The only negative points for me are the slightly protruding camera on the back and the sanctions of the USA against Huawei. I hope that I will still be able to use the phone without any restrictions.

My evaluation: Everything you need is included. The smartphone, a charging cable, a headset and very important of course the small pen for opening the SIM card slot. The first impression is very positive. It makes a very high-quality impression and also the camera looks very professional and promising on the back. It is already very customer-friendly that a protective foil is already on the smartphone. Unfortunately, it is not of very high quality and I replaced it with a better one. The initial setup went perfectly and thanks to the preset clone-app I was able to transfer all data to the Huawai P30 lite in no time. Now it was time for the design. For me the design is very very important and I must also like to have some gadgets. The fingerprint sensor has already become a MUST for me. It reacts within seconds and without problems. The choice of different design types is manifold and I already could choose a nice one and refined it with my own pictures. What I am unfortunately missing is the always-on display works. This always showed me the time on my old smartphone and also new messages etc. Even an alternative app can not replace this function to 100%. Now I’ve been using the smartphone for a few weeks and I’m really excited about it. One app after the other lands on my smartphone and I don’t have to watch out that my internal memory gets full and I have to delete something. Of course I don’t want to waste my smartphone, but the large memory is a big plus. The camera is a bit protruding at the back, but that is not at all disturbing. Before taking pictures, the smartphone automatically adjusts to the light conditions and offers certain functions by itself. For example, it automatically recognizes whether it should be a portrait or a landscape photo or even a night shot. The pictures are all pin sharp and have strong colours. I simply love this camera and it is really not too wrongly in focus with the Huawai P30 lite. Here are a few more example pictures from my side. Because I am a smartphone user, my battery has never lasted 24 hours. It was common every evening and give for me that I have charged my phone. It is different with the Huawai P30 lite. It actually lasts for 2 days.

Huawei is currently on everyone’s lips as a brand. People usually say that press is good, no matter if it’s positive or negative. For all those who are afraid of not being able to use a Huawei SmartPhone: It still works great at the moment and slowly the media is starting to realize that the bans are being backed up. To the phone itself: It takes nice pictures, I have to say. But I can’t confirm the additional functions, like great pictures in the dark. Nevertheless, the quality is top under normal conditions! What I find very nice is the possibility to zoom in and out. Then the picture is photographed in the fish ball mode and more width is on it. Especially in small rooms this is very suitable. Unfortunately, the camera stands out. If the mobile phone is lying on the table and you want to operate it, it shakes a lot, because the camera is strongly bulged. The face recognition was a little weak after the setup. My guess is that the phone is learning, because now the method for unlocking the screen works great. What I also like is the way the phone is unlocked with my finger, which is something that some smartphones have been doing lately. A feature I don’t want to miss anymore. What I think is a bit of a pity is the separation between the screen and the collection of all apps. I never had a huawei before, but other manufacturers only offer what is commonly used on normal screens. An overview which apps are all available can be found in the menu. Personally I find it nicer and clearer. What I really had to get used to is the answering of calls. With all the mobile phones I had so far, you wipe either the red or the green phone in the middle. Huawei thought it the other way round, so at the beginning of my use I always did the opposite of what I actually wanted to do. But sooner or later you get used to it. All in all a super smartphone for a reasonable price. The handling is very intuitive and the camera has many advantages. The original protective film on the display is just as good as the bulletproof glass films that you buy additionally. I still have it on until today – without scratches. The back or lid looks a bit different: slight scratches and rubbed paint on the camera.

I am glad that I may test this super mobile phone from HUAWEI. I have received it in my desired color blue. It looks very high quality and makes a great impression. It lies well in the hand. The HUAWEI P30 lite meets my expectations, because it looks very high quality. It has a powerful hardware with a great price-performance ratio. It looks very harmonious and rounded due to its shiny back. The screen resolution of 2312 x 1080 pixels Full HD is perfect. The setup of my new HUAWEI went very quickly. All data was transferred quickly and easily thanks to the Clone App from HUAWEI. The setup was a breeze. It explains itself by itself. Even users who are not familiar with the material should have no problem. Also great is the operation of the fingerprint sensor. It is therefore an easy unlock possible, at the same time the sensor also serves for fast viewing scrolling of files. Overall, the processor works with 4x 2.2GHz and 4 x 1.7 GHz with 4 GB Ram, 8 processor cores very fluid and allows a fast operation of the smartphone. Also the cameras could convince me so far. The front camera has 24 megapixels and no less than 48 megapixels is the normal camera resolution. The image setter is electric and it has an LED flash. Video recordings are possible in Full HD 1920 x 1080. The USB port on this smartphone is a USB type C. The battery life is very high thanks to a 3340 nAh Li-polymer and a talk time of 21 hours is not in the way. Also very important is the 128 GB internal memory, which can be expanded to 512 GB. The size of this mobile phone doesn’t seem to be global and has a reasonable weight of only 159 grams. My conclusion so far is very positive. For me the new HUAWEI P30 lite is a super alternative to the somewhat expensive mobile phones that are available. It fulfils my wishes and is a looker. The blue almost turns into a purple and is different on every side. Really well done, I do not make any concessions because of plastic. With a clear conscience I can give the HUAWEI P30 lite 5 stars, a best rating. I hope I can give you a small impression with my flying and my first experiences. It is really a good price performance ratio.

My first impression: Despite its size, the mobile phone still fits well in my hand. It is well manufactured and makes a valuable impression. The case is of course mainly made of plastic, although I think this is normal in this price range. The display is huge and, compared to my 5′ device, considerably larger. The brightness and resolution are on a high level. In direct comparison with an OLED display, however, I think that the display quality has to be reduced considerably. The colors seem less intense and black is not the same. The working speed is fast and completely ok. Videos are played cleanly and the built-in speaker has a decent sound. Since I do not play mobile games, I can say nothing about it. Now to the camera. In the last days I have tested it extensively. It makes consistently beautiful pictures with good light conditions. You can still get good results with the zoom function. At least as long as you don’t use the 6x zoom completely. Up to the 2x zoom there are no quality losses visible. At higher values, the image quality then slowly decreases more and more. Impressive landscape pictures are possible with the ultra wide angle lens. With the portrait lens, you can capture people beautifully against a blurred background. The front camera is also convincing. The AI scene detection performs well and reliably detects many common scenes. In short: For a camera that is always with you, the mobile phone provides good to very good pictures for a variety of situations, such as those that can arise during holidays and leisure activities. The battery performance is convincing, even when used intensively, I got through the day easily. Conclusion: If you don’t expect top technology you will find it here. The Huawei P30 lite is a good mobile phone and offers a solid equipment with a lot of endurance. With the mobile phone, especially in good light, very nice photos are possible. In comparison to an OLED display, the display has to be cut back. The phone is not waterproof and cannot be charged inductively.

As someone who likes to travel and capture the experiences on pictures, the camera of the Huawei P30 Lite is the focus of my evaluation. // Technology // The smartphone has a triple camera consisting of a 48 MP wide angle (f/1.8 aperture), 8 MP ultra wide angle and a 2 MP telephoto lens. The front camera has 24 MP and has an f/2.0 aperture. Video recording is supported by both the main camera and the front camera in Full HD. Furthermore, the main camera has an LED flash and a 2x digital zoom. A disengageable artificial intelligence AI helps to improve recordings of the front and main camera. The smartphone recognizes up to 22 shooting situations and adjusts color, lighting and contrast to the environment. // Operation // The operation is intuitively simple. Various shooting modes are available, which are automatically selected by the AI described above, including Night vision, aperture or photo mode. Furthermore, the video mode offers a super slow motion function with 16x slow motion. // Shooting // Compared to the more expensive P30 models, there are only visible differences in daylight shooting at second glance. Blur, lack of colour saturation and contrast deficits make the subtle difference here. Nevertheless, the shots are still very respectable in sufficient lighting. When taking pictures in the dark, strong noise and blurriness set in. The photos also turn out very dark. In opposition to the main camera, the front camera achieves very good results in terms of brightness and sharpness in low light. // Conclusion // If you’re looking for a cheap smartphone that produces good snapshots, the Huawei P30 Lite is the best choice. Ambitious smartphone photographers won’t be happy with the smartphone, though. Too much is lost here, especially with darker shots. Selfie-photographers get their money’s worth here. Due to the artificial intelligence, the various picture modes and the significantly better photo quality compared to the more expensive P30 models, the P30 Lite can already be called a selfie wonder.

I personally have kept my distance from smartphones with Android for quite some time. I once had an entertaining one a few years ago, but I’m back to my apple because of many aspects. It’s the first time since almost 5 years that I’m switching to another operating system. I have always made sure that the smartphone is high quality in processing, has a smoothly running system, enough memory and a reasonable camera. The Huawei P30 lite is described in advertisements as a photo miracle, which naturally raises expectations here. First of all, it has to be said that the P30 lite makes a good first impression. It is well made and of high quality, even if the housing is made of plastic, it looks good. Despite the display size of 6.15′, it is handy and easy to use. The fingerprint scanner on the back worked flawlessly up to now, making it possible to unlock the phone quickly and intuitively. Compared to its bigger siblings, the P30 lite only has an LC display, but that doesn’t bother me here. With the independently executable settings on the display, with the color selection, you can get a lot out of it compared to the basic settings. I would describe the performance here as solid. It runs really smoothly and so far without errors with its 4 GB RAM. Also really positive to mention is the integrated memory of 128 GB, which is additionally expandable with a micro SD. This offers a lot of space for pictures and videos. In my opinion, the camera of the P30 lite can be seen. It allows good pictures without any problems and additionally wide angle shots. The camera is supplemented with the AI/KI setting. Here the mobile phone automatically recognises what kind of motif is in front of the lens and thus enables the best possible recording. The Huawei P30 lite convinces with a really solid performance and a good camera. It is a super smartphone for all those who are looking for something new and high-quality in a medium price range. Switching from another smartphone to a Huawei is made much easier with Phone Clone.

Camera and photo features madness! The picture quality of the HUAWEI P30 lite is outstanding. As long as you don’t stretch the zoom. The smartphone offers the creative photographers among us many possibilities that make photo editing apps look old. Many features are just fun and not to be taken seriously. The quality of the front camera is also fine, but it can’t keep up with the resolution of the back. The design The smartphone is nice and thin and in the colour blue an absolute eye-catcher. The fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone is practical, but not a new invention. Display It’s fair to say that the quality of the screen leaves nothing to be desired. Videos run smoothly and can be varied in brightness. The screen partially adjusts the brightness itself. Readjustment is easy. The screen touches the edge so that the whole smartphone is used as a display! Top! Memory and battery The small SD card leaves nothing to be desired in terms of storage space. And even the battery promises unimagined battery life. For intensive use, one battery charge lasts less than a day. Perfectly sufficient. Performance Apps can run quickly and easily at the same time and can be changed quickly. Waiting times during charging are short. The first installation of course takes a bit until all settings fit the user. Audio I was very surprised by the perfect sound of the HUAWEI P30 Lite. Whether bass or treble, the sound is clean and the volume is sufficient for medium-sized rooms without speakers. I was especially pleased that the smartphone has a protective film stuck directly onto it. A worry that you have less as a smartphone user. Conclusion With the HUAWEI P30 Lite you have the feeling of holding a high-quality smartphone in your hands. It not only impresses with its extraordinary camera, but also with its high quality workmanship and qualitative look. A small flaw is the question, to what extent the Android system is still supported. Here a solution for HUAWEI users must be found quickly.

I chose the phone in white. It appears to have a high-quality finish and is simply beautiful at first glance. Despite its size, it fits well in the hand. Nevertheless, I would always recommend a bumper / a protective cover so that it is a little more handy and also survives a fall better. The display is huge with 6.15 inches. Almost the entire front of the phone is taken up by the display, only a small cutout for the camera in the upper area is recessed. At first glance, this looks a bit cute in full-screen applications, but this is quickly overlooked. The representation on the display is razor sharp. The colors come across well. The battery lasts relatively long despite intensive use thanks to 3,340 mAh. The quick charger is especially practical. You can at least be reached again in a very short time with it, but full charging is also much faster than with a conventional charger. The phone uses the Android 9.0 operating system. I myself find Android super intuitive and am pleased that the features I have grown fond of are also available here again. In addition, I have the face recognition function for unlocking the display, which works really well. The mobile phone recognizes me very reliably (even when I’m not asleep and a bit crumpled up shortly after getting up) – and in case of an emergency it is of course possible to enter the PIN, but my highlight on the device is the camera. With a 120° ultra wide angle lens you can also take panoramic pictures. Even in difficult lighting conditions I am absolutely satisfied with the quality. You can create blurred backgrounds without problems, which always makes a huge difference from my point of view. Carrying a bulky digital camera makes this phone absolutely unnecessary. The internal 4GB memory is not too much, but can be further increased with micro-SD. I love my new everyday companion and am satisfied from front to back. There is one drawback I could not discover until now, I was completely convinced by this device

I have now received my new Huawei P 30 lite and would like to share my first impression. It is the first time that I have bought a smartphone from Huawei. When unboxing, the colour Peacock Blue catches your eye positively. Depending on the incidence of light, the color changes between blue, green and purple. A real eye catcher. The smartphone is easy to handle and can be held in the hand in a relaxed manner despite its size. The weight of the smartphone is pleasantly light. The performance of the P30 lite is much better than that of my previous smartphone. The P30 lite runs smoothly and implements commands very quickly. The fingerprint sensor works very reliably. The face scanner also works perfectly and is especially helpful when the phone is on the table and you want to unlock the phone without having your finger scanned. The display is sharp and clear. I also use streaming services with the smartphone and watch movies and series regularly. I am thrilled. Even after looking at the P30 lite for a long time, my eyes don’t tire, which is probably due to the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification I read about. The camera of the P30 lite leaves nothing to be desired. The pictures are crisp and sharp and the new AI scene recognition technology is also very helpful and useful when taking pictures. The shots are immediately divided into categories and the settings are optimized accordingly. I have also successfully tested the night photo function, as well as the integrated wide angle lens for taking pictures of landscapes. I also find the automatic translation of words or menus per scan very practical. This function should be very helpful for me on vacation. Despite my intensive use, the battery lasts more than two working days and can be quickly recharged thanks to the quick charge function. So far I haven’t noticed anything negative about the P30 lite. I would definitely recommend the smartphone. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable in my opinion.
