To say it in advance: the phone is not bad, the workmanship is very good and all apps run smoothly and smoothly. By means of a phoneclone the move from the old to the new mobile phone was done in no time. This works just as well from the IPhone as from the Android phone. The surfaces are extremely smooth, so that the phone slides very easily. This is annoying during handling. Obviously, the Bluetooth function has a longer range, so that a good reception is still guaranteed in the next room, for example. I switched from the P9 Mate to this mobile phone. The camera of the P9 Mate has completely inspired me and so I was very excited about the quality of the photos with this mobile phone. The results were rather sobering. The photos are certainly not bad, but I cannot confirm the advertised ‘quantum leap’ in terms of photo quality compared to the previous model. Due to the mentioned smooth surface, keeping the phone still while zooming in is only partially possible. But also the pictures without zoom were rather of normal quality. Anyway, my ‘enthusiasm’ has a clear upward leeway. At least the pictures are better than those of the IPhoners of the latest generation. By the way: you can also make phone calls with your mobile phone. But I could also do that with the slightly wider P9. If you want to buy this phone because of its advertised camera features, I advise against buying it. A digital camera for half of the price of this mobile phone delivers better photos in my opinion and only for telephoning one of the predecessor models of Huawei does it. Aside from all that is written: it is not the camera that takes the great pictures, but the person who takes the pictures who operates the camera.

The Huawei P30 Pro is well made, fits the hand well and is very reliable. The battery lasts a long time and is quickly charged via cable. With the SuperCharge (Wireless) Adapter CP60 it takes a little longer. The fingerprint sensor also reacts very quickly and reliably. Of course, the camera, or rather the cameras, is and remains the highlight. Really great photos and videos that are created here, if you use them accordingly. About the software… unfortunately, there are a few things to criticize here. After each restart, the brightness must be adjusted again, even if ‘automatic’ is deactivated! Even if in the ‘developer options’ – which I have activated for myself – corresponding settings are made, this cannot be eliminated. With the camera I miss a setting for taking pictures in the common 16:9 format, this seems to be due to the display format. Furthermore, 360° shots are not possible or are not offered in the software. My Galaxy S7 was already able to do this perfectly. When charging with the Wireless Super Charger (charging station), the phone starts automatically, so it boots up. This is normal and serves to monitor the battery, according to my research. Conclusion… The smartphone works reliably and is well manufactured. The camera is really great! The operating system has to be improved, otherwise all apps installed by me work reliably. Finally something about the future of the P30 pro and Huawei in general. I can’t imagine that Google and Co. would let this huge market be taken away or destroyed just like that. Somehow something will happen, the last word is not spoken yet – at least I hope so.

I bought the P30 Pro last year and have already taken hundreds if not thousands of pictures with it, most of them were more than useful. Thanks to the built-in 3x lens, zooming up to 5x is very good and rather non-destructive. After that it gets slightly spongy, up to 10x, but still usable, at least in sunlight. Up to 50x you can and may also look at the moon ,) The display is excellent and mMn even better than Samsung’s S series, at least from my viewing angle. The CPU, now one year old, can still keep up and will certainly continue to do so for the next 2 years, all current games run at least as smoothly as on the latest Samsung (yes, by that I mean the Ultra). The memory with 256GB is just enough, but thanks to the slot it is expandable, unfortunately only by 256GB at the moment. The sound of the (unfortunately only) mono speaker is good, clear and loud. The reception is very good in all wireless networks, also WLAN and BT. Thanks to quick charging, the battery is also quickly full again, so far no signs of use. The construction quality of the device is very good, in my whole usage time no complaints, not even scratches on the display. The design is very pleasing, a hand flatterer ,) The front camera with the very small hole in the display is not noticeable after a short time and does not disturb. I can only highly recommend the P30 Pro to everyone, especially at the currently reduced price. BRAVO Huawei.

Hello, the smartphone is quite good. Unfortunately I dropped it and the display broke. I sent it to Huawei and had it repaired for 270€ as it is not covered by the warranty. 2 weeks later I went with the Smartphone into the shower because the Smartphone is IP68 certified. But unfortunately the Smartphone went out and not on then I sent it to Huawei but unfortunately a water damage does not take over the repair. Then I asked Huawei how it was possible to pass the Smartphone although it is waterproof and they told me that the Smartphone is only splashproof after the repair. It’s a blatant thing when you spend 1000€ on a mobile phone and then have it repaired for 270€ and only when the smartphone is broken is the waterproofness explained. It’s really sad especially if you have saved half a year for such a smartphone and Huawei is not interested in the customer.

I have been using the phone for a week and am very happy with it, in general I am very happy with Huawei, my older phone was also a Huawei and in the family we have almost only Huawei owners. However, I was a bit disappointed that the notification light was abolished, before I bought the phone I didn’t know that and waited in vain that it would light up sometime, so I took a star print. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great device, which takes incredibly good photos and is very powerful. The battery also lasts, in normal use you have to charge it every 2.3 days and that is very fast thanks to the quick charge function. And the shipping is super fast. I ordered it in the evening and the next day at noon the phone was already there. That is what I call service!

Hello I am now almost 70 years old and will certainly not buy many more phones. The last one was the P8, now there are only 4 years between these purchases, but in terms of technology they are worlds apart! The huge main memory, the 8GB RAM and the big Acku, the great camera was then cheaply taken into purchase. But this one has it in itself, pin sharp pictures, even when the ZOOM is totally extended, with older models it was then always blurred, which is not the case here, still everything is totally pin sharp, even when you enlarge the picture. For me the purchase was worthwhile and I hope now that it will last a little longer, because the last one only lasted 4 years.

Pro : 1 The camera is great, especially in night photo mode, it is exceptional. 2. the battery performance is impressive, not to mention the super fast charging speed. 3. although the phone has a performance that is not the best on the market, it is one of the most powerful phones of 2019. 4. the back of the phone is stylish with excellent colors (Aurora). Contra : Based on my experience on the phone, I did not find any significant drawbacks. 1. however, the screen could have been better. 2. the phone software had to be better implemented. 3. 4K video recordings with only (30 FPS) are not perfect.

It is rightly called a flagship. I bought it mainly because of the great camera and I am thrilled! Whether day or night shots the photos are great. Also the video recordings leave nothing to be desired. Everything else is of course great, but the battery lasts long, the online connections are fast and hold without difficulties, and the smartphone looks beautiful. Unfortunately it is a bit slippery due to the glass casing, but this can be easily fixed with a protective cover. I am very happy with my beautiful smartphone and can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take great pictures.

I do not know what to say… Performance bombastic. Usability as usual from Huawei absolutely great! I had p20pro and mate 20pro before. Absolutely great device! Yes of course the sanctions against huawei are not very pleasant… But Apple etc. Listen mostly also with… Meanwhile it is almost no matter what you buy… I am and remain a fan. To the device itself… Settings taken directly from the old device. No defects no defective battery… Everything as it should be. What bothers me is that there was no case as usual… That was missing. Shipping great. Faster there than showing off.

…and is otherwise highly recommended. My first smartphone was the Iphone 4. Of course, every model was an improvement and there was nothing to complain about (except that from the 6th IPhone on almost every fall was a damage). What mattered to me was the fine workmanship. Whether I had 8 or 10 MP was not important. Slowly the innovations in iOS were not satisfying and THIS is finally a mobile phone with equally good processing and for me 1000 new possibilities in the operating system. Please buy it.

Recommended, easy handling. Still with Android operating system. As well as simple setup, best is to transfer these from the old device via radio. As suggested by the device, ready within a few minutes. One can approach small objects up to a few centimeters and still get detailed pictures. Good camera installed, all shots simply succeed. The battery lasts for a few days. With the included quick charging adapter it can be recharged in a short time. The display is bright and rich in contrast.

I have bought it now and I am extremely satisfied. My old S7 Edge, on the other hand, seems to me to be from the stone age. The camera is really extremely cool and takes pictures that make me amazed. Don’t let the trade war against China make you insecure. Huawei will overcome this and updates will come as well as Android upgrades. I always find this scare tactics really bad. The only thing that should make you worry is the high price, but it was worth it. Huge recommendation from me!!!

I’ve been using this smartphone for quite some time and couldn’t wait until it arrived. For me it was a good decision my old phone had little memory and a not so good battery. This device has a very good battery that I can get by with for 2 days and if it has to go fast, the charging works thanks to the 40W power supply for a charging experience. You can watch the phone charging, I find that impressive. I do not want to say too much except that it is an absolute recommendation to buy.

This smartphone was intended for my wife, so I ordered it as part of the pre-sales campaign. There should be a Sonos speaker. Huawei had promised that. And when I had sent the necessary documents by email, I received the information three weeks later that I would not be receiving the Sonos. Huawei made this decision… …and, of course, I cannot use a product from a company that does not keep its promises. That’s why the actually good smartphone went back. Huawei is dead to me.

This is my first huawei and I have to say that I had difficulties in the beginning because I always had another manufacturer. Now that I am a little bit in it I am very satisfied the camera I have not yet tested but will follow. The only thing that bothers me is that I need a nm card now because the normal SD card does not fit. Of course I have not been able to test it all yet but so far it makes a great impression and the color I ordered it in is absolutely my thing.

This phone is just great. The camera takes great pictures, the menu navigation is simple and clear, especially the many possibilities to choose different keyboards and fonts and top for me is that the alarm clock rings when you want it to, even if the phone is switched off. I would have preferred to keep it, but I am very unsettled by the trade dispute between China and the USA, because nobody knows how this will develop. Therefore I sent it back with a heavy heart.

Actually a super Smartphone, the P30pro (after nearly weeks of use (proper protection cap and additional foil), the rounded corners wobble up and down, so there is a scratching on the finger and one hangs rather. Nowadays I would let the purchase nochnal very well go through my head, alone because of the very high price this very much frightens to buy such a mobile phone or further to Eemphlen. It would have been better if Samsung had stayed away!

Great camera, Android as usual, facial recognition perfect and good sound. Had the Huawei P9 back then, where I was not quite so happy because the Google Apps were not pre-installed back then. Here, however, everything is available and thus for me a clear recommendation to buy! It tops the Samsung Galaxy S10, especially when it comes to battery life. Now already 2nd day without charging and intensive use and still 42% battery. With USB cable.

A bit big, but very nice with its glass sides and the nice colours. The many advertisements in between are annoying. It’s very quick and easy to set up, also the memory card usage with upgrade to 256 GB is a great thing. But I’m still not quite done with the setup with all the possibilities, so there are still surprises. Great playback of movies and TV programmes, razor sharp…and great sound too. So I am very satisfied for now
