Hello, the iPhone XR has been on the market a little longer and I think everything has been said about this iPhone. I personally can’t quite understand all the negative voices regarding the display. For me, it’s a great display, with beautiful natural colours. I use an iPhone XS Max as my main device and of course in direct comparison you can see that it is just a LC display with lower resolution, but I don’t mind. No Oled, no problem with the XR. Because the black level is incredibly good for an LCD. The edges of the display bother me a lot more, in my opinion it’s just not up to date anymore because it looks a bit dusty. But even that is a matter of taste. I like the Product Red version very much, a great bright red. Face ID works reliable as usual, with iOS13 it runs even smoother and feels a tick faster. The positive reviews regarding the XR’s strong battery life moved me to buy it. My old XS lasted just one day, with the XR I can easily manage 1 1/2 and sometimes even 2 days. 6,1 inch is the optimum for me, even if I can’t handle it correctly with one hand and always have to do some finger acrobatics 🙂 Wireless Charging is a bonus and has been used by me for years, I leave True Tone out because it is on the same level as NightShift, which I don’t like either. With 128GB of memory everyone should get along well, it’s a pity that Apple still doesn’t choose this memory variant as a basis. The camera takes really good pictures, but since I’m not a professional in this field I can’t say much about it, it’s enough for me. Air Drop, iMessage and the Apple services are the things that keep me in the Apple cosmos for many years…so I think it’s true when you say *once iPhone, always iPhone* even though I’ve had many Android devices, Galaxy S10, P30 Pro or One Plus, I always come back to the iPhone 🙂 Update guarantee for many years is just another reason to stay with Apple. With kind regards

I am actually a Samsung user from the very first hour ,starting with the first Galaxy up to the S8 I had almost all current Samsung S class devices. My motives for switching to. ios were ultimately the update policy of Samsung and the ever longer and narrower devices. I have been using the XR for a few days now and I am totally enthusiastic. Fluid system, super size, very good display (despite LCD and lower resolution), FaceID. TrueTone should be deactivated, the contrast can be increased in the settings, so that the difference to Oled is hardly noticeable. The only thing I really miss are the greater design possibilities of Android. But that was clear to me before. After a few days I can still say little about battery life. Once again to the change from Android to IOS: in the settings for accounts, enter the Google account, together with Gmail, contacts, mail, calendar are automatically taken over by Google. Transfer photos and videos to Google Photos, download Google Photo App to your Iphone – after that all photos and videos will be available on your Iphone without using the device memory. I’ve never regretted the switch and am just as happy with the XR as I am with my Ipad. I find the current price reasonable for the quality delivered. The camera is perfectly adequate for the hobby photographer.

As I already wrote in the headline, actually a great device, but here the saying applies: the better is the good enemy! Switched from iPhone 6s to XR, which was a huge leap in all respects! Display, battery life, photo quality, etc. are all in part worlds better than the 6s! But as soon as I received the device, the One Plus 6T pro came out! After everyone was so enthusiastic about the One Plus 7 Pro, I thought I would take the step back to Android and try the 7T Pro now! In short: the iPhone went back after 2 days of using One Plus 7T pro! The only plus compared to the 7T Pro was the battery life, which was really awesome: being able to watch over 20 minutes of YouTube videos at 3% is record-breaking! Otherwise the device has no chance against a One Plus 7T Pro! And that at a higher price! If someone wants to stay with IOS, however, the device is optimal: for an iPhone quite cheap, the display very good despite low resolution, beautiful natural colors, the photo quality is also excellent and the workmanship is also TOP!

At first I was sceptical whether I would need a new IPhone at all because everything was still running on my 6s. But with this, everything runs so much smoother and so fast, yes a 6s handles the tasks well and too reliably, but this is a different experience here. From the smaller IPhone to this chunk was my second thought, which chunk do I say to myself now, I have quite big hands but also not mega big and can operate the phone with one hand. The bad display and the thick edges, which bad display? For me that’s quite enough, the display delivers rich colors and the edges don’t strike me as thick and maybe it has an advantage, I still have a Samsung S7 Edge and with the super great not existing edges a fall is enough and it has a quirk. For me it was a purchase on trial, because otherwise I would have gone with my 6s or on an 8, but this will be my new companion – size, speakers, display and performance simply top and the battery has after 3 hours of intensive use and benchmarks still 89%! Clear purchase recommendation

… as an iPhone user for several iPhone generations I was sceptical at first if this device is really the right one for me. I thought I would give it a try, in case of doubt my husband will use it… the size of the device is still ok. For my taste it shouldn’t be bigger. You get used to it incredibly fast and suddenly you wonder how you managed to stand it with the 6S. The Face ID works amazingly well. Even in the dark it recognizes me. Here I had my biggest scepticism. But no, no problem. Living without home button is no problem either. The camera is great. I don’t notice the better resolution of the display compared to the 6S. But I am also very frugal about that. I don’t regret my purchase and can definitely recommend the device. By the way, the battery is really good. I have an average screen time of just under 4 hours and also permanently connect my Hybrid Smartwatch to the device. I have to charge my XR every other day. Charging in between in the car or at the power bank to last a day is a thing of the past.

I am already since the iPhone 4 in the Apple cosmos. I have sold all my devices, because I wanted to reduce myself to iPad Pro and iPhone XR… I really don’t need any more. For my everyday life the XR is a perfect tool with all the apps I use. Camera is completely sufficient for me. The battery life is amazing! Display size is just right. The baby fits like a glove in your pocket. And thanks to Apple Pay I can leave my ‘card collection’ at home. Roundabout the XR was one of the best purchase decisions for me in a long time… next to Apple TV 4K and iPad Pro (13′). To cut a long story short… if you are in Apple’s eco system, you won’t do anything wrong with the XR! Yes, the devices are price wise, rationally considered, completely over the top, no question… but I have never been disappointed in quality in all these years. In other words, the reliability and the interaction of hardware and software of the products are simply unequalled on the market!

I like the Apple Smartphone XR very much. I have been an Apple fan for years and am convinced by the technology as well as the software. Apple became known to me because I am a typesetter in phototypesetting in my second learned profession and I like to work with Apple in the graphic industry. The operating system Windows cannot do this – the operating system is not suitable for it. The Android software and the Windows software are too vulnerable to hackers. Both systems have too large security gaps. The Android system is mainly found in smartphones. The smartphones you can get here can shine technically. The Android operating system is, in my opinion, illogically structured. This is the reason why I prefer an Apple smartphone, even though Apple smartphones are more expensive. If this changes even more and Mr Trump continues to pursue an economic war, I will no longer buy the smartphones of the Americans.

I switched from an iPhone 7. Actually only for the one reason that I ran out of memory there. Enough has already been said about the technology itself and it is typically Apple everything top. But what bothers me about the design is that it’s not even possible to display the battery level in % anymore – because in the small corner in the upper right corner there’s simply no room for it. You always have to open the control center or ask Siri. Personally, I find this very annoying. And… …the XR is so big… I don’t have small hands but I have to reach around in WhatsApp every time I want to press the back button in the upper left corner. I don’t know who came up with the idea, mobile phones have to get bigger and bigger, but that’s not my opinion. A smartphone must also be smart to use. In terms of size, I would have preferred the iPhone 8 or at most the XS.

Well, I’m disappointed! This mobile phone just tells me that Apple just can’t keep up with me anymore…it’s really sad, but I’ve been a fan of this phone up to now, I’ve always had an iPhone for ages… But honestly?! Why should I spend so much money when other, cheaper, mobile phones can do it better? I don’t need to judge this from a technical point of view…so Huawei is definitely further…MY opinion! For me, the worst mobile phone ever…starts with you having to go to the menu to turn it off…the main thing is to activate Siri quickly…bullshit… No fingerprint sensor…well, you could have read it before…but why doesn’t Apple get it right, other people have it with such a display… Maybe that’s whining on a high level…but it’s also money on a high level, I just expect more…sorry… For 300€ ok…but absolutely no recommendation to buy!

after our Xer we wanted something bigger and chose the XR, because it should have the same advantages and disadvantages as the Xer. When it arrived, we saw that it was only slightly bigger. One inch! We started out with the 5 Series and have since used several iPhone’s in a row. After this disappointment we thought about our whole user behaviour and came to the conclusion that iPhone does not offer enough for the money they had taken out of our pockets all these years. Conclusion: we have now completely switched over to Android. Everything sold to Apple. We use the Samsung Galaxy A50. It is bigger than the XR and has much better colors in the photos. The best thing is, it doesn’t cost even half as much and the acclimatization is finished after a few days. That means it’s not worth running after Apple and having to get all the equipment from them.

What can I say, I am thrilled with the quality and honestly, spending 300 € more for the xs is really not necessary. The display which is criticized is not at all disadvantageous. Surely not as colour intensive as the Oled but does it make the difference in size, no I don’t think so. You don’t need to spend 300 € more for it and all other functions are the same. Also the camera is no argument for the added value of the xs. First take pictures with it and you will see how great they look and as a professional you would use a digital camera anyway. Well, this is an absolute top model and I can only give an absolute buy recommendation. If you want to spend the 300 € more and have more than that, then please. It is not necessary.

I’ve had this iPhone XR in beautiful red for well over a year now and to this day I am thrilled. Yes, many people say it’s black, but I don’t mind. If the light isn’t dark enough to read the Kindle, for example, I just use beige for reading or adjust the brightness. Much more important is – the battery lasts over the day and it is stable. Yes over one year and neither has the battery worn out nor does it look different than brand new. The good look is ok, but the battery stays on the same level as when I bought it for over a year, no one has ever done that before the XR. It is my first iPhone before I had androids. Meanwhile there are new iphones available but I don’t need a new one for a long time.

For me, the Iphone XR is the price-performance winner of the 2018 model series. If you can do without the second camera, 3D touch (those who have hardly used it so far will probably not miss it) and the XS’s OLED display, the XR offers longer battery life, better break resistance (according to Stiftung Warentest), as well as a great 6.1 inch display, which of course doesn’t reach the brilliance of the XS display, but still doesn’t have to hide. The XR perfectly fulfills the purchase reasons (almost) borderless display, Qi standard (wireless charging), as well as Face-ID as tasks.

After my last iPhone (the iPhone 6) and a time with Android afterwards I bought the XR. I have some problems with the mobile phone. Network reception is worse than I had with my Android and also the battery doesn’t want to last too long. With mediocre we use at the latest after one day end. The changeover to an iPhone without a home button was surprisingly easy. Everything is self-explanatory and you get a short introduction when you start the phone. Apple succeeded in making the change. Nevertheless I will probably send the phone back.

This is now my 4 IPhone. Once IPhone always IPhone!!! I am completely satisfied with the XR. I have it now for about 2 weeks and can only report positive news. I switched from the IPhone 8 to the XR because of the many good recessions. In the beginning I had decided for the 11er IPhone, but due to the enormously long delivery time I cancelled this after 5 weeks and ordered the XR, because it was available immediately. My expectations were again completely fulfilled by Apple. Clear purchase recommendation from me!

I ordered it for my wife after three years of Iphone 6. I bought the X myself last year and compared to it is maybe even better, because the display is a bit bigger and not so sensitive. The display of my X is damaged because of a small fall and the replacement cost over 300,- !!! On the XR it should be more stable because of the wider frame and the replacement costs also about 100,- less than the X or XS or even 140,- less than the XS Max. Should be considered, because a small fall can be very expensive!

Delivery: Within 24h, perfectly packed and delivered as indicated! What more do you want? article: Unfortunately my IPhone X is broken, so I ordered an IPhone XR. I wanted to order an IPhone 11 first, but unfortunately the delivery time was much too long. I don’t see any difference between IPhone X and iPhone XR. iPhone X was a bit smaller, but somehow I’m even more excited when the display is bigger. This is the only difference. The display colors are very pleasant. And I am very happy!!!

When the IphoneXR was discounted to Black Friday, I took the plunge. When I ordered, it said that the phone would be available in 2-3 business days. But because of the high orders for Black Friday it took about 2 weeks. But it was worth the wait! The phone is great: great camera, outstanding battery life. The package included all additional products: Charger incl. adapter, needle for the SIM slot, headphones. However, one has to get used to the size first. Difficult for small hands

I chose the iPhone xr because it’s a top device and can easily keep up with all other iPhone. Battery life is the hammer so far no other device has had where the battery lasts so long (with normal use 2 to 3 days)! Personally, I don’t understand some of the reviews for the LCD screen, I think it has a very good resolution and the brightness is top. Camera is as expected from Apple very good it makes great photos and videos! So all in all a fantastic iPhone I would recommend it.

A great mobile phone, has a lot to offer! Have the color coral, chic, something different! Camera super compared to the 6s! I belong to the category: Once Iphone, always Iphone, because I already know and appreciate the user interface! Only disadvantage: A little bit heavy and too big for the jacket pocket! But therefore a big display! I always have it in my backpack or handbag, so it is ok for me! Since I like to have bigger letters to read, the size is ideal for me!
