Sorry if this review is a bit longer than usual, but I’ll try to keep it short.
I’ve been fascinated by OnePlus for a long time, owned the OP5, my wife still uses her OP6. But since I come from a Blackberry corner, I had already become friends with the gesture control before it was available on high-end smartphones.
So the iPhone X had been the predecessor of my OnePlus 7T Pro. iOS and Android are hard to compare, so only so much so that the iPhone X with its also available gesture control is much easier to use than the current OnePlus 7T Pro with the Android 10.

And this although the gestures are basically similar. But with the Android it just doesn’t ‘run’ that way, often it hangs when pushing up the app, or the app has some kind of slider that activates instead of the Android gesture. Most of the apps are not yet adapted to this, although the beta phase has been running for quite some time. Unfortunately, the old OnePlus gesture control was not integrated into Android 10.

Despite all this, the smartphone is still easy to use and can be configured very extensively. No comparison with an iPhone. The WarpCharge 30 recharges the battery within a very short time.

The device has the newest and currently fastest processor, the Snapdragon 855+ from Qualcomm, combined with its 90Hz display the device is extremely fast and you won’t notice any jerkiness in any applications or when scrolling through long text or web pages. Program starts are also lightning fast. The OnePlus 7 T Pro is certainly one of the fastest smartphones on the market today.

The Selfie camera is not placed on the display in a notch, but is motorized and comes out of the device at the top. A nice feature I think, especially if you don’t need it often and prefer to watch apps on the almost borderless display without notch.

The 3 cameras on the back are predestined to have the right lens for all occasions. The pictures are on a high level. There may always be better ones, but for a smartphone in this price range it’s amazing.
Also the videos are in a super quality up to 4K and up to 60 FPS.

I have no problems to use the very big smartphone, but without a cover I wouldn’t do it, because it’s quite slippery without one.
Where we are at the cover. A lot of covers are built to be a little bit above the screen to avoid scratching when you put them on the screen. That’s laudable, of course, but can cause a problem with the gesture control. Especially the gesture for home screen or multitasking selection requires you to move your finger from the bottom center of the screen to the top. This also works with a small edge, but not as smooth as removing it. Especially with non-adapted apps you often need several tries.

There is something else,… the fingerprint sensor. This time it is placed in the display. Even if all youtubers celebrate this sensor as the fastest and best in the world, this is only valid under home ‘lab conditions’ with clean fingers. I experience in daily use, that it often takes longer if the fingers are not completely clean. The Dazu.

OnePlus of course also has a typical OP switch in this device, and you can switch between ring tone, vibration and mute with a simple switch on the side. Update 11/2019
Although I am quite satisfied with the cameras in general, there are more and more problems with the wide angle camera. It often has problems with the focus, especially when the light conditions become worse like in the interior… This costs the device a whole star. If this should improve by updates, I will adjust the review…

update 12/2019
My camera problem does not get better, worse the demonstration effect always hits when I want to make a screenshot. So the camera is currently focusing perfectly, it depends on the light conditions how the focus works.
I use the camera quite a lot, as a hobby photographer but also to take snapshots or photos of products (Vine Product Tester), unfortunately the camera fails in many situations. I have decided to give the device back or sell it. There are better camera phones (not iPhone)…
I am absolutely satisfied with the performance, I don’t like the camera and the fingerprint sensor too much.

I pre-ordered the OnePlus 7T Pro directly when it was available, I have been using it for about 1 week now.
I will change my review if necessary. The setup was easy and fast, typical google stuff.

There’s nothing to complain about, it runs.
The QSD 855+ in combination with 8GB Ram and 256GB UFS 3.0 memory is simply the maximum of power!
(Especially because of the 90Hz everything looks much more fluid)

As just mentioned, the display can show 90Hz, that’s 90 frames per second.
(Compared to typical displays, only 60Hz are available)
The QHD+ AMOLED resolution and brightness are just bomb, in my eyes the best display at the moment. I wasn’t really interested in the camera before, but I have to say that it is really good.
People who like to take pictures will definitely get their money’s worth, especially the night mode and macro mode impressed me very much. br>br>Battery:br>Built in is a 4085mAh battery that can be charged with up to 30 watts, the charging speed is damn fast from 0% to 100% in about 60>The battery life varies depending on whether you have QHD+ and/or 90Hz on, I got through the day>br>Whoever wants to can also manage 2 days. (Of course with the appropriate settings)

OxygenOS is close to stock android, but some useful functions have been added.

Now we come to the point where I can only give 3 stars.
The heat development is extreme for me, the device gets extremely warm even with the simplest games.
So warm that you don’t feel like playing anymore, while watching YouTube I even got a notification the other day that the phone got too warm.
I can’t imagine that this is normal, I will contact the OnePlus customer service soon and check it out.

It would be the perfect mobile phone for me, if it wasn’t for this heat problem.
But I assume that this is a hardware defect.

The latest news is that the mobile phone was quickly exchanged, Amazon is superior to all others in this point. The heat problem is history, it was actually a hardware defect.
After 3-4 months a new problem appeared, display ghosting! That means the display starts up on its own, apps open wildly, the appdrawer pulls up, the menu bar pulls down on its own and so on. In the developer settings I have activated a setting that shows a white dot on the display when touched. While the display is spinning you can see without touching it because the white dot means something under the display is not working properly and disturbs the electronic field. I did some research and found out that this is not an unknown problem but should be fixed by a software update. This is not the case with me, but I am on the newest version. A factory remnant did not help, the problem still occurs, I have already contacted the oneplus customer support several times. They advise me to send in the device or to exchange it at Amazon, I am now hesitating between the two options. However, I would like to emphasize that the device is otherwise top and has always provided a good service. As I wrote in my earlier review the specs are breathtakingly good, that hasn’t changed of course. For the enormous money this should not happen, sometimes you just have bad luck. I will change my review if necessary.

My new OnePlus 7T pro arrived on Friday the 18.10.19 with me. It is my second OnePlus after the OP5 which unfortunately broke prematurely. I wore it on the roller coaster in a leg pocket of my hiking pants and was pressed so hard against a bar of the car in the curves that it bent. And I loved it so much.
But I’m gonna fix it. Display, and body I already bought and took it apart and admired the excellent workmanship.
But now back to the OP 7T Pro…
The technical features have already been described in detail in other reviews. At this point I would like to tell you more about my experience with OnePlus and why I am so enthusiastic about the company and its products.
Well, I am particularly fascinated by the company’s Never Settle philosophy. When Newbie 2014 started, OnePlus has meanwhile become the fifth largest manufacturer on the market (source OP website).
And although they have not been a flagship killer for a long time, they have largely retained their original values. One listens to the wishes of the customers in the community and implements them. One strives to become better and better. The software is close to pure Android, without Bloatware and Klickibunti interface. All additions make sense and represent an added value. I have never had a smartphone in my hand that worked faster and more smoothly than the 7 T Pro. But, even the older models were always super smooth to use (my OP5, but also my wife’s OP3 and OP6T).
The OnePlus 7T is for me a smartphone that lacks nothing. The points that are prayed for by experts in their test reports are not relevant for me.
1) Wireless charging per Qui – Who needs that? With Wharp Charge the smartphone is so fast full – what can Qui do? Why do you want to put a smartphone on a Qui-Charger all the time? This is rather bad for the battery. And the Qui-Charger in my company car is unfortunately too small. The phone does not fit in here at all. And if it would fit, it wouldn’t be able to charge because it is in a case…
So, for me absolutely dispensable.
2). IP68 certification: OnePlus saves the money for such an expensive and above all senseless certification in order not to have to increase the sales price unnecessarily. That is clever and right. Because no other manufacturer, who advertises with his waterproof or even waterproof smartphone, provides replacement in case of water damage. NO ONE!!! So money for nonsense saved, regardless of the fact that I never had the idea to swim and dive with a Smartphone.
My OP 5 is now 2.5 years old and the battery is still as fresh and durable as on the first day. The operating system runs fast and reliable without any jerking.
These are the reasons why I am so satisfied with OnePlus.
Last but not least there is no other manufacturer except Google itself, who provides updates and the latest security patches from Google so fast and reliable.
So if you are looking for an absolutely reliable smartphone, with top workmanship, high-performance and future-proof hardware and software, without notch and double bottom, you will certainly be as happy with the OnePlus 7T Pro as I am.
It’s just fun, is a beautiful hand flatterer and runs like crazy.
OnePlus 7 T Pro – that’s all I need!

I do not want to question the technical parameters of this smartphone. There is nothing better on the market.

I already own the Oneplus 6T McLaren.

As you can easily see from my photos, Oneplus degrades the brand name McLaren , with its small print directly under the McLaren logo !!!

McLaren is not ! Shenzhen China!!!

A total design faux pas. Distance would have been correct.
Furthermore it is shown on the Oneplus-Homepage without this stigma !

I still know what I do, keep or send back, lack of respect for McLaren……

The Oneplus 7t pro is similar to its older brother, the 7pro in almost all areas, the differences are
– on the one hand the minimal bigger battery
– the slightly improved front and main camera
– the Snapdragon 855+ instead of the normal 855
And of course the more recent software
In addition to the wharp Charge 30t which charges more than 70% in 30 minutes

Since I was allowed to test and compare both devices I can say that they are both absolutely worth their money, with the 90hz the devices are further distinguished from Samsung and co. and offer as always the best price-performance ratio
But if you already own the Oneplus 7 Pro I would not recommend the 7t Pro, because the differences and improvements are simply too small.
If you don’t have a mobile phone of this calibre, I would recommend the 7t Pro, as it is simply the slightly revised version of the 7 Pro and costs about the same
Those who thought they could change from the 7 Pro should not do so, but who have the same resolution, the same size and in everyday life not really distinguishable performance will show how little the differences between the devices are.
So, I can recommend the 7t Pro without any problems and in my opinion there is no better mobile phone in the high-end sector

I have been using the new OnePlus 7t Pro for a few days now. First of all I don’t need to mention that I’m switching from an iPhone 8 and so I was used to the iOS operating system. However, it is not my first OnePlus smartphone.

The design of the device is fabulous. When I first took it out of the box, I had a WOW effect because I was really excited. The color Haze-Blue is nice and strong and looks great.

Operating System:
OxygenOS is almost Stock Android with some useful features like the shelf or the advanced customization options. This makes the operating system unique. However, as an iPhone user, it takes a bit of getting used to the controls, because the transitions (e.g. in WhatsApp) are not that smooth. It takes getting used to.

The QHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz is pin sharp and smooth. The calibration can be adjusted according to taste, so natural or richer. So there is something for everyone.

The Triple Camera is bombastic, it takes crystal clear photos and very good videos. With the ultra wide angle camera you can capture a lot and the zoom works great. The macro mode also works well.

The price is justified and on top of that it’s cheap if you look at the colleagues from Apple, Samsung and Co.

The OnePlus 7t Pro is a very good phone if you want a good overall package. The price is not too high for a high-end phone, but you still get the latest hardware. The phone is also a good choice for those switching from an iPhone.

Super mobile phone! It keeps, as already mentioned in the title, everything it promises. It runs very smoothly, which is due to the Snapdragon 855+ and especially the beautiful 90Hz AMOLED display. I also like the customizability and the fast updates for the top operating system Oxygen OS, with which I had no contact before. What I like about the Prealps is that there are no unnecessary apps like preinstalled, but only useful apps like Google Maps. Because of the fast memory, the loading times for files are zero and you don’t have an annoying notch. The stereo speakers have a really cool sound even at high volume. I was a bit deterred by the rounded display sides (left and right), but they are very light and fall flat, so they don’t bother me at all. The only often mentioned negative point is the camera. But I have to disagree there. In my opinion, the camera is top for today’s standards and I always get positive feedback from colleagues and friends for photos with this camera. Another plus point is that Oneplus is interested in what their customers want and therefore design their phones accordingly. There is a large community that is happy to help with any problems and is listened to by the developers.

All in all a top smartphone that convinces with its absolutely valuable haptics, look and performance. You get what the manufacturers promise and all this at a comparatively low price. Since it easily keeps up with the flagships of the other big brands, which usually charge prices in the range of around 1000€.

Where do I start with this excellent smartphone?
I ordered it a week before release, because I have searched through many forums, videos and reviews and thought that I got a top product. I was not disappointed?
On the shortlist was the OnePlus 7t Pro versus the iPhone 11 Pro Max. I chose the 7t Pro because of its price and better screen.
The camera, battery life and performance are overwhelming. Thanks to the 90hz screen, the scrolling experience is unbeatable. The battery lasts for 2 days with normal use and 1 day with active use. Charging is incredibly fast (about 30min from 15% to 90%). OxygenOS is perfectly tuned and the best operating system on an Android smartphone. The front camera is extendable and one of the highlights, I’ve often seen amazed looks while extending it, it also has the advantage to enjoy a beautiful UHD+ screen without notch. The main camera takes razor sharp pictures and with the 4k 60fps video function it is almost possible to take professional pictures.
Only negative is the missing headphone jack or the IP certification. However, since I don’t experience content with headphones, but mostly with the built-in stereo speakers, I don’t miss the interface at all and regarding the IP certification I can only say that in light rain the smartphone has no problems and I wouldn’t do the immersion in water even with certification.
Finally, I can recommend the OnePlus 7t Pro to anyone looking for a great, incomparable smartphone experience.

The phone screen stucks quite often(solution restart)
Once, I minimized all the windows, but one was stuck in the background in miniature form. (solution restart).
Sometimes, finger print doesnt get detected. I tried setting up fingerprint as carefully as possible, multiple times.

I have had this smartphone for several months now and after this time I can say that I am very satisfied. Had a Moto G7 Plus before, there is of course already a strong improvement in all aspects. I am really convinced of the quality of the device, the 90Hz are so noticeable that I don’t want to miss them anymore. The display is gigantic, the Selfie camera only falls out when needed, which is of course great for privacy fetishists. The fingerprint sensor under the display runs really fast and doesn’t hang far behind others. For sub-display sensors one of the best and fastest, works smoothly for me. Have it run permanently at 90hz and high resolution and the battery still lasts very long. As long as you are within reach of a power socket, you can charge the battery to 70% in 20min. Thus a clear purchase recommendation goes out here. For the price it really cracks every other smartphone and especially the IPhones. +Haptics, workmanship are flawless and it feels great in the hand
+Great display, thanks to selfie camera that retracts, since I use it very rarely
+Loudspeakers loud and clear
+Price performance

Moin all together, now own the mobile phone since 4 weeks.

-It is super fast, big Disyplay, can be operated with one hand, Battery lasts long and charges fast
– I can’t understand the writing here that the mobile phone gets mega hot
up-to-date Android and the handling is simple
voice and music quality is good
first simple mobile phone case and foil included

Well to the deficiency what concerns perhaps all or only me

camera makes itself good pictures on the day
As soon as it becomes a little bit shady the white balance starts to spin. I almost always have different colors in the>br>Also the pictures don’t look>>br>Then the ultra wide angle the pictures are completely muddy and so when you send them with WhatsApp and Co it gets even muddier……pretty>>br>-Ah yes and it comes to my mind that the videos I make no matter in which quality and I send them with Whats App the videos look mega bad…… I don’t know what’s wrong with the compression or the app does it like that 😉 Would still buy it for me

greetings from the north

I am using the OnePlus 7t Pro McLaren edition, now over a month. All in all I am very satisfied. Visually I find it wonderfully beautiful and almost the most beautiful MCLAREN edition. It is very valuable and of super quality. The large display without notch or hole is great. Compared to the normal 7T the display is of higher quality with the same FHD+ resolution. The camera is very good in daylight, only in night mode something is missing. The pictures are very yellowish. But this can be easily fixed with the GCAM app. This app takes great pictures and fixes the weaknesses. The battery could last longer, I get about 5 h display usage time. Which is very positive, the fingerprint sensor in the display and Warp Charge. 20-30 minutes and the phone is almost full, wireless charging I do not miss. I got used to the size very quickly and don’t want to miss it anymore. So far I have not regretted the purchase and am very satisfied.

I have been using this phone for two weeks now and I am very satisfied. The phone is big and a bit heavy but I got quickly used to it (I am coming from a S8). The 7T pro it’s very well built: premium materials. This phone is powerful and can perform almost any task really fast: a great user experience. Oxygen OS is smooth, fast and a light OS compared to other Android Factory versions. The 90hz display also makes a difference when it comes to user experience in my opinion. The battery lasts for two days (but keep in mind that I am not a gamer.) The camera is good but I would have expected something more! Anyway it’s not a big issue for me since I am going around with a dlsr all the time…and rarely take picture with my phone! 🙂 It’s something you should take into consideration if you are only counting on your phone camera. I am satisfied and I would recommend this smartphone for sure!

What many people already know about the mobile phone is that it is very fast, there is no jerking and no delay – everything runs smoothly. I think it is very good that you have so many personalized settings. The sound is rich thanks to the stereo speakers. It’s a bit heavier than the standard mobile phones of the other providers but I for my part got used to it quickly and I don’t notice the heaviness anymore. Praiseworthy also from the manufacturer that he gives a protective cover in the package and a protective foil is already on the phone. The manufacturer advertises with a quick-charging function which I can confirm: over 70% charged in 30 min (of course with the charging cable/plug from the provider. I am satisfied with the OnePlus 7 Tpro.

I switched from an iPhone XS Max to the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition with 12 GB RAM because the display was too much for me. Although the iPhone’s bar was already very high. The display is awesome. The size as well as the 90 Hz of the amoleddisplay are impressive. When I hold the two devices next to each other, the difference in the display is noticeable stronger or weaker depending on the application Pro OnePlus is used. I don’t know if it’s because of the 90 Hz of the display or the very good color rendering of the OnePlus’ Amoled Display, or both. I first had to get used to Android. I like the IOS operating system of the iPhone much better, because everything is faster adjustable.

On the negative side, I bought the phone because of these incredible technical data and I was a little disappointed because it can not use them completely. Already after about 1 hour of gaming the temperature gets unpleasantly warm and according to my feeling also the WLAN connection gets worse (has improved with the last update).

Now to the positive

The screen is a knockout 90 ❤️ are a dream in combination with a strong processor like this. The look is brilliant and the workmanship is outstanding.

In the hope that further software updates will further increase the performance of the phone, I keep this beautiful piece of technology.

So far this smartphone meets all requirements I could have for a smartphone – chic design, brutal performance, high quality workmanship, except for the camera quality. This is rather mediocre.

Little update after 3 months of use:
You notice teething troubles like stuttering Bluetooth connection with some audio devices and absolutely drunken autofocus of the camera. I have to take back the statement about the camera quality I made at the beginning. If autofocus and exposure are working together, the pictures are excellent.

Great phone everything it promises keeps it I am super satisfied. The battery lasts up to 11/2 days and the charging speed is excellent (only wired wireless has it not but with about 30min charging time bearable) The display is grandios no annoying notch just great. I don’t think I need to go into price and performance to see how much the S10 costs and then this one. Specs are mostly the same if not better. Conclusion buy be happy.

The OnePlus 7T Pro is in itself a super nice mobile phone.

But I got two OnePlus with quirks out of the package. The first one had an unevenness in the back of the glass and a big scratch on the frame.

The second phone (replacement from Amazon) came with a quirk + discoloration on the frame of the camera lens. At first I thought it was dirt, but it couldn’t be removed.

This is unacceptable with a product that costs 759€.

After thinking for a long time about keeping the second phone and possibly having it repaired by OnePlus itself, I was deterred by the negative reports about OnePlus support.

The two stars in this case are the super Amazon support. As usual, everything is uncomplicated.

By far the fastest Android smartphone currently available! Especially the super fluid 90Hz display is something I wouldn’t want to miss anymore! In addition, OnePlus includes a carbon-Alcantara backcover and an already applied display protection film in the McLaren Edition.

Only the camera (which nevertheless takes excellent pictures in good light conditions) is a bit stronger on the iPhone 11 Pro and the pixel 4.
