I have owned and extensively tested many mobile phones. The S10, the P30 Pro, the OnePlus 7 Pro to name but a few. Now I have reached Oppo Reno through the Alternate offer and what can I say… what Oppo offers here in the price-performance sector is phenomenal. The device comes super packed, with headphones, protective cover and quick charger. A protective foil is also included (but I take it off quickly with all devices).
The mobile phone itself looks extremely valuable and the Ocean Green is a more than interesting colour that varies depending on the incidence of light. The handling is also very pleasant due to the roughened frame and the slightly blunt back. I was particularly pleased that the camera does not protrude from the housing. The setup and first operation in the ColorOS system, which is strange to me, is quite easy from the mobile phone. The menu navigation is completely in German and very clearly arranged. Even though I haven’t had an Android 10 update yet, I am very satisfied with the current system, based on Android 9. The fullscreen display offers a very good and in my eyes realistic color reproduction. The temperature can be regulated individually between cold and warm. The white and black values are very good and for example put the Axon 10 Pro clearly in the shade. Here you lie on top of Xiaomi and Huawei right away. The edges of the display are kept very narrow and are even a bit smaller than those of the Xiaomi Mi 9t.
The performance of the system is very fluid despite the weak processor and there are no jerking. Even less complex games can be played without restrictions. With Fortnite or other graphics-intensive games the phone naturally goes down on its knees. The camera is quite usable for this price and can be compared with the Xiaomi Mi 9. Although you have to do without the wide-angle lens, the basic and zoom lenses do a good job. During the day, there is little noise and good colour rendition (not as saturated as with the Xiaomi). The night shots leave a lot to be desired, of course. What I find negative is that the flash for the main camera also sits in the pop-up camera and this has to be extended for a photo with flash. The Selfie shark camera is an eye-catcher. It makes solid selfies and is good to use during the day. Of course, it doesn’t come close to the high-end devices of Huawei and Samsung.
The mono speaker is very loud but offers hardly any bass. It is certainly enough to watch movies or listen to voicemails. It’s certainly not suitable for music.

The bottom line is that the Oppo Reno in this price segment is the best for m

For a long time I was looking for a new Smartphone, which should only meet a few cornerstones:
– maximum 6,4” display without camera cutout of any kind
– internal memory &gt, 128 GB or alternatively SD card slot for expansion
– fingerprint sensor, NFC and whatever else is common standard
– price preferably below 500€

Unfortunately, this was a difficult task! Almost all devices currently on the market do not match for it. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, for example, has a maximum of 128 GB memory in the EU version, as does the Samsung A80, which is also much more expensive.
Finally, only the Oppo Reno met the criteria mentioned and so I bought it.

What can you say… The mobile phone makes a really great figure. I am really excited. The handling and function is up to common standards, everything works as it should. The flip camera is super and quite responsive. The installed Color OS 6 (based on Android 9 Pie) is quite close to stock Android and not as tinkered with as for example Samsung. Therefore all functions and settings are easy to find. The workmanship – as far as one can judge haptically – is top class and is in no way inferior to devices that are twice or three times as expensive! br>If it now holds up well for the usual two years of use, I may have found my new favorite brand. So far it was the Spanish bq, but since the takeover by Vintech it seems to have stopped its development activities.

In this sense I can award five stars here so far with a clear conscience.

Nevertheless, as a side note: The delivered version of the device was probably imported via TIM (Telecom Italia). An Italian warranty card from TIM is included and a pair of apps from TIM are installed on the device. The device does not have a branding or sim-lock and can therefore be used by all network operators in Germany with a clear conscience.

The delivery from Italy was fast and problem-free. The smartphone looks really nice, although I could never quite understand the hype about material and optics. In the end, everything is packed into a case and the front of a smartphone looks arbitrary, because the display dominates. A display foil was already included which fits perfectly and is hardly noticeable. The included cover is smoke grey, fits also super and seems to be up to the job.

The own OS based on Android runs smoothly and even if you can create an Oppo ID, I could use all functions without the ID so far. No annoying warnings, advertising or other hints. Some Bloatware is included, but is pleasingly limited.

Online games are not my thing and benchmarks don’t interest me. In my opinion, the system is perfomant. If you want to know exactly, you just have to look at tests.

The battery is okay, it’s enough for the famous day. But definitely not more. Charging is comparatively fixed.

The same goes for the camera. Good pictures are possible, but the competition can do better. In low light the puff goes out, in good light conditions you can’t complain.

Good, but not very good or even reference…in the end this applies to the whole device. For the 380 Euro there is a lot of internal memory, a fast processor, sufficient RAM and nice components. The Selfie Cam is of course made funny with the slide mechanism. As a unique selling point but poor from my point of view.

For the money and also under it there is a lot of competition and therefore the Oppo is no insider tip for me, no price miracle…. But simply a good affordable smartphone on a saturated market with countless good and affordable smartphones.

This phone is awesome. The looks alone beat all the Samsung and iphones. So elegant and well made. The front camera is sensational. The speed of the phone is world class and in my eyes flagship. Games (like the Ego Shooter Shadowgun Legends) play super fluid.
I can’t get out of raving about this part. Best mobile phone I’ve had so far. I don’t like the normal camera when I compare it with Huawei pictures, but I’m not the photo shooter anyway. And the price is really a joke compared to the flagships.
I have an Oppo. In my opinion, the best cell phones in the world.

Super Smartphone with good memory, a lot of storage space, Super Camera.
You get along with the device very well and the display takes up almost the whole front of the Smartphone and it’s a lot of fun.
The front camera retracts and extends as expected and in case of a free fall it closes automatically and very fast.
The only disadvantage is that there is a traffic jam in the camera slot and you should clean it often.

The package comes from Italy and takes 1 week, but is for me the best mid-range smartphone for the price. A relatively large screen without notch and amoled top class. A motorized selfie camera that takes great pictures and its nice backside in green with a dual camera that also takes great pictures. I can only recommend it.

It is my first oppo mobile phone I must say I am very enthusiastic about the quality of the workmanship is super the camera is unique really very good especially the selfie camera the only criticism is the battery that only lasts seven hours so on screen time games run well, pubg runs very well on HD.

Great Smartphone, which looks incredibly beautiful. The color is actually rather green/blue instead of green, but in my opinion it looks much better in reality than on the photos

Good phone overall even though I’m a bit disappointed by the fact that the front pop up camera gets very dusty easily. whenever I want to use it I need to clean it because it’s full of dust. It should’ve been insulated in a better way in my opinion
