I’ve had the Mi 9T for 3 weeks now and I have to say that it hasn’t even disappointed me yet.
You get a good all around package for your, now 380€.
I’d like to describe a few things that some people consider impertinent for this price. An example is the Youtube App, that’s where it catches my eye.
If you have set the Dark Mode on the Youtube App and have set the brightness almost to maximum, the display will light up a lot in direct sunlight.
It almost seems as if all black is gray all at once, but this color change is just for a better recognition of applications on the display, that’s for sure.
I think this leads to the fact that the display is relatively dark despite maximum brightness when you are outdoors. So, the brightness and colors on the display are very good !

Setting up the device was easypeasy, was a bit scared in the beginning because it’s my first Xiaomi device but this was not confirmed, it’s easy to set up, WLAN worked directly, just enter your password and the eel was ready. The fingerprint sensor is a real beauty, it recognizes my fingerprint way too fast and the Mi 9T is unlocked in a flash. My thumb falls perfectly on the sensor, maybe it’s just because of the size of my hand, I think everybody feels differently.
The Smartphone fits very well in my hand, I’m 1,92m tall and have big hands, so I can only say that the Smartphone is very comfortable. The Mi 9T is heavier than some other Smartphones but it is not a block in your hand that you have to carry around in a sweat. The smartphone has no expandable memory, so unfortunately no slot for a SD Card.
After all it has the normal headphone jack.

The front camera by the way shoots sharp pictures. You can test this very easily by dropping the smartphone with the extended camera about 20cm into your hand. The battery will last for 2 days during normal use, so it can be used for chatting, playing games, watching Youtube, etc.
Laxer If you don’t have anything else to gamble with than your smartphone, the battery life will of course go down rapidly, I think that should be clear to everyone. The charging time is very good, so between 1.5 hours – 2 hours the thing is back to 100% battery, rather 1.5 hours. 🙂
I haven’t observed it exactly yet, but I think about 30 – 45 minutes and the Mi 9T already has 60% battery.
Charged via USB-C.

Conclusion, if you are looking for a visually sophisticated and cleanly working smartphone, you should try this. It is always an eye-catcher when someone sees the notchless display or the motorized front camera! 🙂

Yeah, it might not have the Snapdragon 855 and have 1000000 Gigapixel, infinite ram or whatever, but that’s not the way we advertise it, nevertheless it can keep up with the big flagships.
All specifications are easy to read and if you buy a smartphone (in this case the Mi 9T) just to compare it with the 1000€+ smartphones and then complain how bad this smartphone is, it should go straight to the Iphone or Samsung. 🙂

In this sense, let yourself and your loved ones be well.
Greetings 🙂

This is my 3rd or 4th Xiaomi mobile phone. Before I only had Apple or Samsung and very expensive mobile phone contracts. Luckily that’s over, because for an unbeatable price you get unbeatable services from Xiaomi.
>br>packing and shipping was done via Amazon. As you are used to, the delivery was super fast.

The cardboard from Xiaomi is very high quality. Everything is very valuable and well thought-out packed.

The smartphone itself is top processed. If you think of Made in China (from back then), I have to smile at you … With the 9T you get a hammer Smartphone which is super precise and makes no difference to other manufacturers. It feels like an iPhone. Really good.

The display is pin sharp. The fingerprint sensor in the display reacts super fast to unlock the smartphone. The feel and performance is very good.

The software (Android) is completely in German. Instructions also. This is what you wish for.

Via the jack socket you can also connect headphones, which is no longer possible with many manufacturers, or only with a supplied adapter that you quickly lose or do not always have with you. So again a plus point for Xiaomi, that they stayed true to the jack plug for headphones.

Photos in tele, wide angle, selfie format leave nothing to be desired. They look great. Videos in HD and UHD (4K) are also possible. What more do you want?

The built-in battery is huge and so you can easily get through the day with intensive use. With less use, 2-3 days is determined.

With LTE Band 20, you can also be on the road quickly in Germany via LTE. Nice that Xiaomi has integrated this into the 9T.

>One negative point: The 9T has no SD card slot anymore. That means you can’t insert an external memory card anymore to store videos, music or similar stuff. I don’t like that so much, but I decided for the 9T anyway.

Conclusion: The Mi 9T is my absolute insider tip for people who are looking for a very good and affordable smartphone … and for those who don’t need a status symbol and can calculate.

Bought the Smartphone 2 months ago, and I am super satisfied!
Here is a small review about the most important points

The camera(s) are so far ok and the pictures are very good in daylight*! What I like very much is the 48MP mode, this is self-explanatory. With the wide angle lens the quality decreases a bit, but you can still use these pictures. *The attached picture is in low light, because the camera itself can take great pictures in low light, but you need a modified GCam app, tutorials how to install and use it are available on the internet. Even selfies get sharper with the GCam.

Although there is still the Snapdragon 730 in the camera, it is enough for everyday life and gaming. I can play CoD Mobile on everything ultra with 60fps. For surfing in social media this is of course enough anyway, pages load fast.

The FHD+ AMOLED display is simply said good, the brightness is sufficient even in direct sunlight, colors are very pleasant.

The battery is sufficient for me personally. With normal use it lasts all day, with less use even almost 2 days. It is in 1.5h with me on 100% charged.

For currently ~250€ (on other platforms) it is in my opinion the best mobile phone what you can get at present if you look at the price-performance ratio.

Great thing this Smartphone
Have the Mi 9T for a month now and there are hardly any points to criticize.
Especially battery life and camera have convinced me very much Especially at this price. The display is also well saturated but a little bit in direct sunlight which is very practical because the display is very bright. The fingerprint sensor also convinces but strangely enough does not work with very dry fingers. Still the speed is pretty good.
Camera is one of the points where I was really surprised
I never thought I would find so much performance in a 350€ mobile phone the standard pictures are already very good and especially the video recordings in 4K and slomo. Here you can shoot at up to 960 fps which is just completely crazy.
Another nice feature of the camera is that you can expose up to 32 seconds per mode. At night and clear skies this gives really nice pictures of the night sky (but a tripod would be practical here). The inner camera is also very good and is not disturbing on the display due to the pop-up design. br>The battery also does a good job and lasts up to 2 days if you don’t unpack your phone too often. br>The phone also runs very smoothly although it doesn’t have the fastest processor. All in all a clear recommendation to buy.

I bought this phone for my wife, because her old phone ‘Samsung’ broke down after long use. Since we did not know at the beginning which mobile phone or from which manufacturer we wanted the phone, we first had to think about what the phone should be able to do and what is especially important to us.
Our points:
*The camera should take good pictures
*The battery should be big enough to last for a day without worries
*The mobile phone should be easy to use without any big frills
*It should not be on the market too long to get long updates, because we want to use our mobile phones as long as possible without buying a new one every two years.
*It should have enough memory.
*However, the price was the decisive criterion for us, what many phones were thrown out of our research, because we didn’t want to spend more than 300€ for it.
As I am a fan of Oneplus, this would be my first choice, but the price was just too high and we decided against it.
As a real alternative, the Huawei P30 Lite was shortlisted.
The Xiaomi Mi9T fulfills the above mentioned criteria perfectly and therefore we can recommend it with a clear conscience.

If I could help you with your purchase decision by my evaluation, I would be very happy about a useful one.

From the reason why I don’t have a verified buy is because I bought it on amazon.es, because there was an offer for 299€.

The smartphone arrived today and I am absolutely thrilled.
It fits very well in the hand is nice and big and not too heavy.
The included cover is also very great, I bought a transparent cover, but now I only use the included one, because it fits better in the hand.
The mobile phone was quickly set up, after that the first tests were done.
The popup camera is very quiet and the sounds can be individually adjusted or deactivated when starting up.
The notch-free display is a real eye-catcher and the fingerprint scanner works perfectly. Due to the Amoled technology, even dark scenes in movies look very good.

So at this time absolute recommendation to buy!

Supplement: On the 3rd DAY of use no problems and super satisfied. Very fast and easy to use.

Supplement: after now 7 days I can only repeat myself. The software Mi UI 10 is really awesome and everything runs really smooth. I haven’t had any crashes of apps or the mobile phone until now. Also the YouTube app works perfectly. In string mode it looks really good, especially because of the rich black of the Amoled display.

In itself a nice device with a great display. Fingerprint reader does not work if there is a protective foil (bulletproof glass) on the display (therefore unusable for me). Now for the absolute NO-GO: the WLAN connection. Password is correct, it shows connected, but you still cannot browse. After several resets and a long research in the internet (apparently not only I have the problem), I will send the device back. The system updates don’t help either. This is really annoying, because I read a lot of good things about the device. A nice mobile phone, but without WLAN connection? No thanks!
NEWCHTRAG: After a few days I found out what the problem is. Apparently the device has a problem with the Telekom Speedport (tried three other WLANs, all of them working without problems). The solution is now relatively simple: Log on to the Telekom website with device ID and create a WLAN guest account. I can now finally surf the WLAN, only in the guest access, but that doesn’t make any difference for my purposes. Otherwise you could try a WLAN amplifier or TP link, but it was not necessary for me.
AFTER 2: After the system update the fingerprint sensor with protective foil also worked. Mostly needs 2-3 starts, but that’s ok and could react faster depending on the protective foil.
Will keep the phone now that the problem is solved. The pop-up camera works fine, but I’m curious how long it will last.

Optically, the Mi9T is a cream cake. Unfortunately, it comes along very heavy. Compared to the Mi9, it is unpleasantly heavy. And this is where the incredible starts… Set up: Language, country all good…then came the WLAN…PW entered…no connection…trying the 5 Ghz network…no connection. Just no reaction at all. A no-go. Well well done……found and installed the update (over 4G)……when I was finished and on the home screen, I quickly downloaded the next update, again with LTE because the WLAN wouldn’t start for the life of me. Installed with the hope that the error is fixed with the WLAN. Restart after installation. WLAN is still not working. The data connection was switched off to give the WLAN a push (it was activated, but no sign above)
…LTE just stopped, although the data connection was switched off. The software is just a bad joke. At least on the Mi9T. Everything runs perfectly on the Mi9. What was also very noticeable was that the battery lost energy very fast. I only lost 19% up to setup. On the Mi9 it was 20 % after the complete setup with all apps 1.5 hours of processing. The Mi9 T took 15 min. A short camera test also showed that it is a lot weaker than the Mi9, comparable to the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. This is not possible at all. So it was packed up again and sent back. In addition it came to a delay of 5 days (DHL fault). Unfortunately there was nothing more than anticipation. If it is the norm for this model I would advise against a purchase. If it was a Monday device…bad luck for me.

The fingerprint sensor is slower than expected and you need 2-3 tries quite often.

The settings for messages are absolute bullshit. To get messages in the lock screen you have to search for a long time in the settings to make this possible and even if you have found the settings for it, this is not possible for all apps. It’s a pity that you can’t allow messages for some apps from the beginning. And even if you get messages, they are not very informative in my opinion. Before I had an iPhone where you could read all messages on the lock screen. Here you can’t even see which chats have new messages if you have e.g. messages from 3 people WhatsApp.

The biggest problem is that the phone just crashed. In the morning the screen just went black and none of the buttons worked. Only if you held the button for a long time you could see your home screen, but only the icons of the apps without a background image. This one was black. But you couldn’t do anything, the apps didn’t open and you couldn’t swip left or right. If you then held the on/off button again, the menu with flight mode, switch off, restart and mute opened. Also here you could not execute anything.
I had just started using the phone because it was early in the morning and it was not overworked. After some time of inactivity the phone worked again.

Great powerful Smartphone
Had the iPhone 8+ before. But because I love Android I bought this Smartphone and I think it is much better than the iPhone.
Super performance, all current games run on it. The battery lasts for 3-4 days if you don’t do something on the phone all the time, like I use it for work, but then it lasts for about two days.
The camera takes very nice pictures for a good price. The performance while taking pictures is better on the iPhone, but with the price you can’t say anything. But I have not photographed so much with it yet but I am very satisfied. So don’t get me wrong, the Mi 9t makes great photos.
The slow-motion shots are improvable, but the exit front camera is also very good and fun to use. Generally using the mobile phone is a great experience 😀 definitely a buy recommendation if you want to have a strong smartphone for the price of a middle class mobile phone.

To the advantages of the Mi 9T there are several reviews, so I don’t want to list them here again. But what often remains unmentioned and what finally made me send the phone back are the size and the weight. It is very clunky compared to other devices, and that even though they are often only 0.3 inches smaller and seem 30 grams less. The size of the Mi 9T gets on your nerves after a while and you don’t want to take it in your hand in the evening – which admittedly sometimes might not be that bad…

I can only advise everyone to compare the phone with others before buying it in a shop. However, if you could also make friends with a P30 Pro or S10+ or even Galaxy Note, you’ll certainly not go wrong with the Xiaomi 9T, especially at this price.

Another small drawback I haven’t read in any reviews is the camera software. The front camera produces very soft and bright images, even if you turn off all beauty filters. This is probably the Asian taste. Compared to the iPhone, the pictures look unnatural and a bit strange.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T has everything you could wish for.

The design is simply unmistakable.
The workmanship is on a high level.
The price-performance ratio is outstanding, not like for example Apple (performance top yes but really pay 1300+ for it?!).
The display is more than sufficient. Colours are displayed very well and looking over Netflix is really fun.
The brightness is great, but automated it’s a bit sluggish and needs a bit.
Battery lasts longer than average. Approx. 8-9 h screen-on time.
Camera takes really useful pictures.

All in all you can’t do anything wrong with your mobile phone. Even if it only has the Snapdragon 730 (Mi 9T Pro 855) I could not see any weaknesses. Sufficiently therefore completely.

From therefore a definite purchase recommendation of me.

Simply good. I was tired of having to pay an additional 30 € per month every time I signed a new contract for a new phone. And for the price of the Xiaomi Mi 9t I could buy a new smartphone every year. The performance is absolutely convincing. Nothing jerks, the touch screen works without delay and the camera is absolutely convincing compared to a device three times as expensive. But what I like best is the screen without notch. I don’t know why so many vendors stick to this ugly thing, so unfortunately also with the new Mi 10. With the Pop Up camera you have solved it perfectly in my opinion. I am completely satisfied with the device and I can only recommend it to anyone who has a powerful smartphone that looks good and is still cheap to ❤️. Clear purchase recommendation!

After years of using Samsung smartphones I switched to the Xiaomi Mi 9T about two weeks ago.
The smartphone has a good workmanship and looks also very high quality. The apps all run very smoothly and the battery lasts the whole day even when used intensively. What I really like is the extendable selfie camera, because there is no annoying notch. It also looks very stable and shoots good photos. The same applies to the main camera. I also like the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The only disadvantage: The memory is not expandable. But that doesn’t bother me, because there is more than enough memory for my needs.
In short: I am enthusiastic and completely satisfied. In my opinion, you can’t get a better smartphone in this price segment at the moment.

My first Android smartphone, after many iPhones, and I am absolutely thrilled what you can get for the price here. Brought it with me because I didn’t want a notch on the front. The smaller Snapdragon is absolutely sufficient if you don’t play.
Battery life is easily 5 days, because I don’t talk much on the phone and write almost only and the battery is huge.
The extendable front camera I won’t use much/not much, but it’s a nice gimmick 😀
The camera on the back makes wonderful pictures.
Processing and haptics don’t let you guess the price. All very good.
Once again: I am thrilled!

Very good phone with the latest technology. This device must be behind my S10 etc. Hide and that at a price point that is unbeatable. The initial problem with Android Auto has been solved by simply not connecting no device via Bluetooth first, but connecting directly via the cable. Afterwards everything was perfectly even Bluetooth connected……

The topic with the software I can absolutely not understand…..the device connects everywhere perfectly……

Clear purchase recommendation…

So I’ve been using the device for about a month now!
My predecessor was a Samsung S9 where my battery only lasted until 7 pm in the evening.

The Mi does a great job battery lasts for two days without any problems!
Usage Insta GB etc.
Play less.
But videos occasionally.

It has enough power and speed is top. br>br>For negative.br>br>Camera is ok but can’t keep up with Samsung and Co.br>Contrast is way too high and very bad in low light.br>But for taking pictures in between it’s perfectly ok.br>br>Price performance really top can only recommend it!

Pros: great display with high brightness and without notch, fast and accurate fingerprint sensor under the display, very good performance, long battery life and quick charge function, unique design, built in jack connector, good camera performance all around, very well done selfies, smooth user interface.
Contra: Pictures in low light could use a better processing (With future software updates Xiaomi can improve this even more)
For the price of 320€ the absolute price-performance winner!

I thought about buying such a mobile phone for a long time, because I was very sceptical if it really delivers what it promises. After about 1,5 months I have to say that I am really convinced and very satisfied. It is a top mobile phone which offers a lot for little money. Sometimes you need a little more time to get the finger scanner working but otherwise I can’t really complain. The battery convinced me the most, which really lasts very long.

Had the phone for a couple of months now. It goes beyond my expectations so far. The performance and display are top-notch, in fact hard to distinguish from a flagship. Battery life is simply astonishing, the phone can comfortably go through 2 days of regular use with one charge. Camera and fingerprint sensor are quite adequate for the price. Overall, an incredible cost benefit deal for a phone that feels like it cost twice as much.
